The Family Foundation is asking that you join us for 40 Days of Prayer, Fasting and Repentance for Marriage from August 27 until October 5, 2014. Our state and nation are mired in a morass of confusion and post-modern thinking that does not believe in absolutes nor that any truth can even be known. Nowhere is this more evident than in the current debate raging about what constitutes marriage. Pagan philosophies, a secular humanist education establishment and an entertainment industry that is absolutely determined in pushing the envelope on decency and morality have all combined to turn this great land into a country that our forefathers could not even begin to recognize.

The Founding Fathers certainly did recognize the society theocrats wanted to create. That's why they did all they could to prevent it coming about.
Black people and women running around free, educated, voting and holding public office would already be such a shock to the founders that they'd hardly notice a few gay people getting married here and there.

I think lots of the Founders would've been shocked at the fact that now it isn't okay to own black people as property and that said black people and even *gasp* women have the same rights as white men and can hold public office, like a certain man occupying the presidency they'd refer to no doubt as a "mulatto".

Will you be supporting the participants financially during these 40 days? If you're supposed to Pray, Fast and Repent for over a month, you won't be able to work, but your bills still need to be paid.
There is very little debate about what constitute marriage. Most people agree that it is a legal contract between two consenting adults who intend to live together indefinitely.
Your forefathers would probably be busy marveling at all the new inventions (like cars, airplanes, computers, building materials, etc), the strange way people dress nowadays, that "negroes" and women have equal rights with white men. The fact that gays have also acquired some of the rights that colored people and women have acquired, will probably seem natural to them.
Your forefathers were all for creating a secular humanist society (more or less), silly.

Considering the widespread obesity among fundamentalists, I suppose The Family Foundation considers a daily intake of 3000-4000 kcal. as fasting to near death. Three meals a day instead of five (with intermittent snacks), cola lite, yogurt ice cream, pizza with reduced cheese, ...

David Blaine did this in London a few years ago. Nobody was particularly impressed. In fact all he got was abuse. There are plenty of people, including children, on this planet who "fast" simply because they have no food. So pretending to starve yourself in a land of plenty is nothing but an insensitive stunt carried out by people who could probably do with losing some weight anyway.

Possibly, but I've often said that any organization with the word "family" in the name means they're a bunch of bigoted, self-righteous a-holes who are pissed off that people aren't living their lives how they think everybody should.
