Legitimate means legal, as in not forbidden by law. Homosexuality is not forbidden by law, therefore, her objection to her lifestyle being described as not "legitimate" is, in fact, legitimate. The rest of your statement is total horseshit.

They are still requesting tolerance, and are getting less meek about it, because they obviously still are not getting it from you. When you really learn tolerance, you won't have any more problems with this.
