Religion and Christianity have nothing in common. Religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world. A demon's favorite activity is making an unsaved person feel religious. You need Jesus Christ my friend. Your faith plus the Gospel equals eternal life. The Gospel excludes all forms of self-righteousness. We are saved by HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, that is, the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ (Romans 4:6; 2nd Corinthians 5:21 - note that all Scriptures are quoted only from the faithful, King James Bible).

"Religion and Christianity have nothing in common."
More 'Christianity is a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CREATOR, not a 'religion'! Except to ensure religious tax exemption for churches. Or First Amendment rights for Christians. Or whenever else it's convenient!'
Again Dave, why do we need you and your ministry sputtering off then?
You're just trying to claim you're different than a church or preacher somehow but you're just another con artist in the religion scam.
DJS claiming the Gospel excludes self righteousness? That's one shiny mirror he's talking to.
Of course, DJS would be one of the first to complain about "religious persecution" if the likes of him are called out on their bigotry because their God says so.
"Religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world."
Full stop there. Now, I can't believe I'm saying this, but seeing this line by itself, I ag- I agr- I agree with DJS. Man, now I feel sick. Yuck!
Of course, he just haaaaas to ignore this epiphany of his by including that crap that complete and utter bullscheiße of "'Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus, not a religion!"
" A demon's favorite activity is making an unsaved person feel religious."
You're a demon six flags park, Stewie.
You were doing so well at that second sentence... Then you fucked up.
DAMMIT, DAVE! WE WERE MAKING PROGRESS!
"Religion and Christianity have nothing in common."
Well, in that case all right-wing fundie Christain churches & related organisations etc will have to start forking out their rather sizeable chunk of the nearly $17 quadrillion owed to the IRS by Christianity in the US since 1776; in this instance, untold trillions .
$cientology has nothing in common with Christianity. Yet, that has tax exemption as a religion . So does Islam.
So, you want Freedom of religion to be eliminated from your US Constitution? Well, it's either Christianity has no right to exist in the US & it's protectorates - including Guam - or to save your particular belie f from absolute state control via the IRS, I'm afraid you'll be forced to admit that your particular belie f is a religion.
Enjoy your paradox, DJS...! >:D
Yes, that's why Jesus told his disciples to stay home and shut up, especially Peter. They were instructed to copy his teachings and leave them in public latrines, so no religion would form.
"Religion and Christianity have nothing in common"
Or at least it would have, if SOMEONE didn't drag the worst aspects of religion into it.
Let's see if I've got all this... Christianity isn't a religion, it's a relationship with God that is protected under the establishment clause. Secular humanism IS a religion and therefore evolution mustn't be promoted in schools because of the establishment clause. And Islam is not a religion, it's a political ideology, and is thus not protected by the establishment clause. Thank you...my eyes are open at last, and thanks for playing Reality Is My Playdough! DOLTS. (That's a general indictment, not specific to the OP.)
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
