When I was a teenager and had a more fantasy-prone view of the world than I do today, I tried talking to God but never got a response. So then I tried to sell my soul to the devil. He never showed up though.

Rather, you’ve justified God NOT DOING SHIT where any of us can see a direct connection to our behavior, but later, you’ll point to my wrecked car or cancer and say god did that because you told that dumb joke four years ago.
