It’s about destroying Christianity, especially the churches which have not embraced the leftist agenda.
They are not ever going after muzzies, and trapping them into refusing to perform a gay “marriage” because they know damn well the muzzies will refuse and cut their heads off.
How long before they go into a Catholic church to be “married” and sue the Church?

Those clergy peers dropping their opposition to S-SM in the House of Lords, thus the 2013 Marriage (Same-Sex Couples) Act rubber-stamped by MPs in the House of Commons.
Strange how the Church of England - which those peers represent - is still here. Stranger still:

How Sadiq Khan - Mayor of London, and a Muslim - has a Fatwa out on him for his pro -LGBT policies.
It's all about your 'agenda' being destroyed: by yourselves , o fundies. >:D
Churches are able to determine what marriages they will sanctify, in all circumstances. Some will only perform marriages for couples who are both members of the church. Others will refuse, legally, to perform marriages for interracial or interfaith couples, or those when only one of the couple is a church member. The state cannot require a church to marry any couple, just as they can't require it to baptize or confirm someone, or dictate any element of dogma.
While members of the clergy are authorized to perform marriages, in most states it is not automatic and requires filing paperwork with the state. The state does not require a marriage be performed by a member of the clergy or conducted in a church. For instance, I'm authorized to perform marriages in Minnesota, but have never performed one in a church, because I'm not affiliated with one.

Never, because if you understood the First Amendment's free exercise of religion clause, you'd see that the government can't tell any church what to do. I mean, sure, someone could file a lawsuit against a church, but it's not going to go anywhere. It would rightly be thrown out of court and as an atheist I would support that decision.
On the other hand, though, the longer Christian churches refuse to conduct same-sex wedding ceremonies the more anachronistic they're going to become as the rest of society continues to progress forward, and they will continue to dwindle.
Human rights is not a leftist agenda. It's a humanist agenda.
Can divorced people "marry" in your church? THAT, more than gay marriage, is destroying Christianity, as Jesus actually had something against divorce, but never spoke about homosexuality, one way or the other, according to the Bible.
Confused?
