They can start by emphasizing that it is only a theory; not proven fact. The teaching in high school and college imply it is true; all they need to do is find the evidence to prove it. The article even eludes to the idea these scientists are not giving up on evolution but admit the current evolution explanation is lacking in explaining reality. In reality they have ABSOLUTELY NO SOLID EVIDENCE FOR EVOLUTION, but they can't quite declare they no longer believe. That would be the end of their career.

We have literally observed evolution countless times. If fools like you want a good example, look at the Lenski experiments or one of countless other cases where evolution has been observed or put to use. Of course, just like good ol Andy, you will likely deny the evidence right in your face as well.
Doesn't understand what "theory" means #567,922,399......oh who am I kidding, it's infinite at this point, right?
Of course, this guy ignored what Gerd Muller, a biologist and professor at the University of Vienna was actually saying and went with Christian News Networks bullshit summary. Muller indicated that the classic theory of Evolution needs to be rethought and adjusted in light of new multidisciplinary discoveries. 'Cause that's-you know- what science does. Muller obviously did not say anything denigrating evolution as the best explanatory model of current biodiversity. The Discovery Institute, of course, published an analysis and twisted this into a major confession by an expert that the entire Theory of Evolution is deeply flawed.
"it is only a theory; not proven fact"
Yeah, yeah.
Scientific Theory
Ordinary definition: "An explanation of the facts."
Fundie definition: "Not facts, therefore meaningless."
"...it is only a theory..." - Paging Mr. Inigo Montoya. Would Mr. Inigo Montoya please report to the information desk, thank you.
"The teaching in high school and college imply it is true..." - if by "true" you mean "the best current explanation of the facts" then yes, the teachings do teach that. Because it is.
"....scientists are not giving up on evolution but admit the current evolution explanation is lacking in explaining reality" - which doesn't make evolution a bad theory, it just means there are things still to be discovered. Which is what keeps evolutionary biologists occupied.
"In reality they have ABSOLUTELY NO SOLID EVIDENCE FOR EVOLUTION..." - except for all the fossils. They're rock. It doesn't get much more solid than that.

We can start with emphasizing, for the umpteenth time, that scientific theory is layman's fact, you imbecile.
It IS true, it has been observed in nature and in laboratories. In museums all around the world, there are literal mountains of evidence in favor of evolution.
All YOU need to do is find any evidence, any whatsoever, for the existence of any gods, but preferably for your god in particular. Fundies have tried for hundreds of years, but found nothing whatsoever.
What color is the sky in your world, Jonnie-boy?
English lesson for today:
elude = to avoid, escape
allude = refer to casually or indirectly
Hint: using incorrect words in an argument encourages the reader to dismiss it.
Again
If there's any relevant facts that dispute evolution we won't be getting it from lying deluded creationists like you.
Scientific consensus vs, clown car.
Clown car: Zero
"all they need to do is find the evidence to prove it"
Welllllll, science doesn't do 'prove.' Science offers the best theory anyone's come up with so far to explain all of the evidence we've collected to this point.
Proof is final. You can do that in math.
In science, it's always at least technically possible that some new observation may be made that is not accounted for in the theory. Then a new, better theory will be required.
Evolution, as a theory, will not be rejected because you, or anyone, demand better or more easily accessible 'proof.' Mostly because you just make it clear that you don't know what you're talking about and you'll be dismissed. Sit at the kids table, the adults are talking science.
You COULD try to find some evidence that the current theory of evolution cannot explain. But, bad news, the new theory will have to explain the new evidence AND everything that supports the current theory. So, really, you're just going to get a more robust theory of evolution.
John, we don't have a lot of scientific respect for somebody who doesn't know that a scientific theory is not the same thing as the common use age of the word. The theory of evolution isn't a guess. It isn't a hypothesis. And reputable museums around the world have - literally - millions of pieces of evidence. Your say-so, even in all caps, doesn't change that.
After late 2005, the law says that Evolution is proven scientific fact .
Conservative Christian Judge John E. Jones III and your 'God' - via Romans 13:1-5 - agrees, don't bother them about it.
Perjury - as in accusing a Federal judge of lying - is a very serious crime in the eyes of the court. And I'm sure you know the penalty for disagreeing with your 'God', eh Johnnie-boy...?!
A Conservative Christian judge decided that Evolution is proven scientific fact.
So why then, is he still in that career? It's certainly isn't ended .
That is the reality that is the end of your argument. As is that of Cre(a)ti(o)nists'.
Confused?
