Quote# 135463

I am 62 years old. Before I began practicing Falun Dafa, I was a Buddhist. At the age of 36, a fortune-teller told me that I would encounter a serious life-and-death experience in my 50s. I had no idea what to expect. My life was difficult after I got married. We lived with my in-laws. My husband and I were laid-off workers. To make a living, I worked long hours at a local restaurant and did not get home until 9:00 p.m. every night. It was my responsibility to prepare breakfast for the family every morning.

With such a difficult and stressful life, I developed various health problems, including severe rheumatism, shortness of breath and a chronic cough. I slept under a heavy comforter and wore warm pajamas, but still often coughed myself awake. I even began to struggle while going up steps.

Then my sister came for a visit in 2002. It had been five years since I saw her last, and I hardly recognized her, as she looked much younger. I ask her what happened, and she confided in me that she was practicing Falun Dafa (despite the persecution). She encouraged me to give it a try, so I did. When I first began to do the exercises, I felt lighter: It was amazing. Soon, my symptoms were gone. I then began to tell others about the goodness of Dafa, and the truth about the persecution of Dafa practitioners.

I was excited about cultivating Falun Dafa, but one day I developed some odd symptoms. I was off balance while walking, and my limbs lost their strength. They were the signs of an ischemic stroke. I felt anxious. I was only 52 years old, and my mother-in-law was paralyzed and bedridden. I was the one who took care of everyone! Then I remembered the fortune-teller. Was this what she foretold all those years ago? I also recognized that this was the arrangement for my life, and only Dafa could save me. My despair then turned to hope. These symptoms were caused by my accumulated karma. I knew I had to pay the debt I owed.

Master taught us:

“As a practitioner, your path of life will be changed from now on. My fashen will rearrange it for you. How is it rearranged? How many years does a person still have in life? One will not know it oneself. Some people may get a serious illness after a year or half a year, or they may be ill for several years. Some people may suffer cerebral thrombosis or other illnesses, and cannot move at all. How can you practice cultivation for the rest of your life? We must fix all of them for you and prevent these things from occurring.”(Zhuan Falun)

I understood the Dafa principles and was no longer anxious or afraid. I just continued doing what a Dafa practitioner should do. All the symptoms of a stroke were gone in just seven days. I personally experienced the wonder of Dafa! Thank you to Master Li – the founder and teacher of Falun Dafa. And thank you to my sister – and fellow practitioner – who introduced me to Dafa.

Was the 2 a typo or the 6? Or did even you get sick of the formula?

I understand the principle of FAILun:

It's Daft.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falun_Gong#International_reception

Ethan Gutmann, a journalist reporting on China since the early 1990s, has attempted to explain this apparent dearth of public sympathy for Falun Gong as stemming, in part, from the group's shortcomings in public relations. Unlike the democracy activists or Tibetans, who have found a comfortable place in Western perceptions, "Falun Gong marched to a distinctly Chinese drum", Gutmann writes. Moreover, practitioners' attempts at getting their message across carried some of the uncouthness of Communist party culture, including a perception that practitioners tended to exaggerate, create "torture tableaux straight out of a Cultural Revolution opera", or "spout slogans rather than facts"

You don't need to 'Attempt', Ethan: not when they themselves explain how daft they are.
