I am being discriminated against because the Easter Egg Hunt is now called a Bunny Holiday.
They changed the name because they hate Christians. This bill could go both ways. Unfortunately (or fortunately) Christians aren't sue-happy.

Cry me a handful. You aren't being discrimiated against, you're just looking for things to complain about. As for whether or not Christians are sue happy, that doesn't matter anyway. It's not as if you have any kind of a case.
Where in the fucking bible does it lay claim to the bunny claim or the egg claim? Was jesus a rabbit? Did jellybeans pour out of his side-wound? Did jesus on the cross melt like a chocolate bunny in the hot sun before he could die from his wounds?
It's a celebration of the spring equinox. You don't like it, take it up with nature.
Well, you really have no one to blame but the early leaders of your cult. When they usurped pagan rituals celebrating the winter soltice, they at least had the sense to rename it "Christmas" to further promote their religion. But, when they stole the pagan rituals celebrating Spring, they forgot the name change. So, if calling a day on the calendar "Bunny Holiday" instead of using the old name that celebrates a pagan goddess is what gets your knickers in a knot, it's far too late to complain now.
Well, I thought that Easter was meant to remember Christ´s passion and the eggs were accesory for the kids´fun but, well, who knows if they hate Christians for calling it Bunny Holiday. And last time I looked up in the dictionary, discriminate meant something else. Learn to write.
I am being discriminated against Where's that "Help, we're being oppressed" pie bar when you need it? Ah, thank you, Boxers.
because the Easter Egg Hunt is now called a Bunny Holiday. So in other words, he's not being oppressed at all, just prevented from pushing his mythology on others.
They changed the name because they hate Christians. Right. Sure. Got an objective source for that statement?
Wait, wait, wait. He's bitching because his secular holiday is becoming more secular? Where in the hell does a bunny play into the passion story? And I don't remember any eggs in there, either. I guess that shows how much I payed attention in Sunday school. Or am I just reading this wrong?
And as a side note, non-Christians hate Christians? Doesn't that go both ways? I know MOST Christians hate non-Christians with a wrath that would make your hypocritical "god" blush. Is it just me, or does anyone else hate idiot fundy Christians (as well as fundies of all varieties) as much as I do?
So, they change nothing about a public event held for your holiday, except the name, and now you're being persecuted. If you're going to be like that, shouldn't you focus on the religious basis of the holiday? I love chocolate as much as the next girl, but seriously, if I had risen from the dead, and everyone ingored me to chase plastic eggs, I'd be pissed.
How could those sinners forget Mark 5:14 "and the Easter Rabbit sayeth to the children, "gather my eggs, for they are chocolate and delicious!"
I've heard semi-fundies bitch about the easter eggs being a ploy to distract people from Jesus, make up your damn minds.
Well, the pagan goddess Eostre is so very Christian!
How did the Hunt become a Holiday?
Discrimination doesn't work like that, stupid.
What a bad Fundie!
The Easter egg hunt never had anything to do with your religion. Have you noticed any robed guy dragging a cross at the White House event? That's your version of Easter, torture, death and magical resurrection.
You're a Fundie, many of your lot despise secular holiday practices. Next thing you know you'll put a tree in your house and decorate it.
OK, before you embarrass yourself (further), look up the history and symbolism behind these things:
- Easter eggs
- Easter bunny
- the name “Easter”
and then think about what they have to do with Christianity.
Confused?
