Millions and billions of years isn't an assumption. It has support in both geology and physics. Fundies make the assumption that the Bible is right. They then invent unsupported explanations for anything that appears to disagree with that: fossils were deposited by the Flood, SN1987 isn't really 179,000 light year away, radiometric dating doesn't work, etc.
Atheists disagree with some interpretations of scientific findings - some arguments ensue.
Somehow this text lacks any coherency, witch hardly suprises me.
Sigh - whenever I see people like this claiming to accept science, I think of it like them playing a game of chess, then tipping the board over when they think they're losing and yelling "I WIN!". If you move the pieces but don't follow the rules that your opponents do, you aren't playing the game.
