My evolution vs creation education comes from the fact that I have a degree in Old Testament history and eschatology and have studied this for 30 years.

A degree in Old Testament history? You mean you know a whole lot about nothing? Damn. You know, there are peple out there who have never set foot in a school who know exactly the same stuff.

Thirty years of apologetics does not equal scientific study.

So you spent 30 years of your life reading fairy tales and you're calling it education?
2/28/2008 6:54:24 AM
Eschatology - uh, do you mean scatology?
2/28/2008 7:37:13 AM
My evolution vs creation education comes from the opposite direction...

it is too bad that they consider that valid credentials when discussing anything other than the contents of their bible, even their lord christ spoke in parables and stories, is it too much for them to accept that maybe the entirety of the bible is a sort of parable

My evolution vs creation education comes from the fact that I have an M.B.A. and have had the privilege of 40+ years (post school) of free thinking !! And I go with evolution !!

Then your not qualified to discuss Evolution at even the layman level. But you know your Bible. So...You're a professional bullshitter.

That degree was no doubt obtained by writing the name of a bible college on a small piece of paper just after the printed word 'pay:' - then filling in an amount of money in both words and numbers on the next line, then writing your name in that flourishy sort of way usually called a 'signature' - add the date top right and voila!

Great! If I have a question about the Old Testament I'll ask you!
If I have a question about evolution, biology, or reality, I know to Ask Someone Else.

@Philbert McAdamia, e-scatology is the virtual interwebby version.
2/28/2008 8:58:38 PM
And you have yet to open a book.
2/28/2008 9:00:01 PM
That's nice...and yes, I'll have fries with that.
2/28/2008 11:24:23 PM
A degree in culinary cuisine is about as much of an education in Evo vs. ID as your "degree" in religious gibberish is.
2/28/2008 11:29:49 PM
Oh great. You read a book.
6/25/2008 1:36:03 PM
Awesome. Now, I'll have a #4 with a sprite.
6/25/2008 1:52:19 PM
So you don't understand even basic biology, huh?
Could you explain the book of Job to me? God seems to act like a real jerk in that book.
Oh and I'll have the #5 with a medium Barq's root beer.

So in conclusion, you know jack's shit.
6/26/2008 9:04:07 AM
I can study the lord of the rings for 30 years.
Dosen't make it true.
6/26/2008 10:04:26 PM
Impressive. Do you know anything about science?
6/26/2008 10:55:37 PM
Eschatology has not practical examples, because if it did, then... well... you wouldn't be able to study it.

The most lost Fundie type, those that have invested their lives and knowledge to ancient fairy tales from one culture alone. These, by the way, are the ones that should have come to a more reasonable conclusion because the more you look at that book (and it's variants)the more ridiculous it becomes.
People who really study it have to see the condradictions yet still defend it. In the educated, it will a brain at war with itself

You're missing an education from the other half of the debate, namely anything science related. You know, the stuff you somehow missed since primary school.

Let's test the 'history' part:
Who was Mencius, and what was his contribution to philosophy?
No, you can't Google.
