The media is overly protective of false religion, and that's why you can count on articles about Christian holidays to be on the front pages of newspapers and articles about Christian issues to be featured prominently in newsweeklies while the holidays of other religions are virtually ignored.

Hey, Yom Kippur, the holiest day of my religion... I went 16 years of my life, and the only thing even CLOSE to it, was my Rabbi's sermon getting featured in their guest column, and he only made reference to the holiday once.
So sure, go through your news paper everyday in December and count the times you see the word "Christmas".
