Innocent children should stay that way, and they should not know what sex is until they're at least 16. Kids are getting sexual information at an earlier age, and it's wrong.

Yeah, because it isnt like theyll have questions. Or wont want to explore on their own.
It isnt like anywhere in nature we can find examples of organisms having sex, without having been explicitly told what it is.
No wonder teenage pregnancies are higher in the Bible Belt.
WTF? My 8 year old cousin knows what sex is. Probably has a vague idea, like I did between the ages of, I dunno, 5 and 9... but he does.
no wonder they're such ignorant fuckwits.
For God's sake, sex is not something that's learned, it's natural. You ever notice how animals have sex ?? You know that's not because people went round teaching them how to do it, it's just built into our genes. You could lock a kid in a closet until he's 15 without him learning anything about sex and he's still going to try and fuck the first girl he sees. A great deal of kids think they've invented masturbation the day they discover it. They're going to want to do it, you can either educate them about sex and have them understand the proper way to deal with those urges or you can have them think they invented sex and see where that leads.
Interesting scenario from a human sexuality class I had...one girl had a friend who first learned about sex from the police officer who interviewed her after she was raped. When she was 17.
I'm sure that was a healthy experience all around.

*headdesk* *headdesk* What you're talking about is preserving a child's ignorance. One can know all about sex and remain innocent, no matter what you think.
Kids are getting sexual information at an earlier age, and it's wrong.
So you want them, not knowing, to experiment in middle school and give each other STDs, hm?
So I had sex before I should have known what it was?
And if kids are getting "wrong" sex info at an earlier age, why not instead teach them the "right" info first? That way, when the kids do inevitably have sex, little Timmy won't get the clap, and Betty-Sue won't get knocked up.
God will be having a good laugh when dayton knocks on the door.
"You know, son. There was a LOT of fun to be had without hurting anyone. I gave you all the tools, you fool."
Yeah, SEX IS WRONG! Everyone got that? It's bad, bad , bad, bad, BAD!!!
Oh, of course! And girls should think they're going to die when they have their first period, and boys should think their penis is broken when they have a wet dream, right?
Children seem to be reaching puberty earlier these days. Believe it or not, they can figure out the mechanics without their elders.
The problem is, they are ignorant of the consequences, and the elders are to blame for that.
Y'know, I'll never understand the thought process involved in the fundie sex and loathing cycle. Sex is bad, but we should breed at a rate that makes rabbits look downright chaste. Kids getting knocked up is bad, but lets not teach them about ways of protecting themselves. Abortion is bad, but if it's my kid, it's okay. Well, okay, the last one is just hypocrisy...but still.
How exactly did you decide that 16 should be the age? How exactly do you plan to stifle young people's curiosity (and hormones) for the first 16 years of their lives? Should people only have children 16 years apart to spare the parents the uncomfortable "where do babies come from" talk?
Perhaps you should think about this a bit more.
Kids have bits. They're curious about them. They're curious about other kids' bits, too. Would you rather they learn information about sex from a loving, responsible parent who can give it to them in age-appropriate increments and teach them the importance of treating other people and their own sexuality with respect, or from other kids who still think that fart jokes are the epitome of humor?
Confused?
