I can only say that there is more atheist attacks on Christians than visa versa.

That's a load of crap. I've never had my lack of faith "attacked", but when some of the Christians I worked with found out I was an atheist, they literally started avoiding me...people I had been friendly with, too.
Its unpleasant.
Dare I even ASK what that has to do with Startrek?
Or is it one of those Evolution things, like when someone says something, then that sparks a debate? Like,
The plight of women is deplorable!
I concur!
I disagree. Women have a fair enough go.
Duck don't have thumbs!!(<~~~Guess what fundie said THIS? Do you know, Garak?)
Statistically impossible.
I hate to play devils advocate here, (aww, who am I kidding - I love it ;-) but that's not necessarily true; not if it's normalised to attacks per potential attacker (which would be a far more meaningful statistic than just comparing net attacks on either side). I still call bullshit until I see citations, though, and I further doubt someone happy enough to pull such bullshit statistics out of thin air could comprehend the difference or originally meant to quote a per capita value.
Even per capita, I'd expect the level of aggression towards those of a different religious position to be much higher for christians, or indeed people of most religions, than for atheists or agnostics. It would be interesting to see what the figure really is, should someone have actually calculated it at some point.
Yes, well, okay. Does that make you feel better? Go away now and play with your toys. Quietly, mind.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Oh. one moment please.
(pant pant)
Ok, I'm all set now.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Strange, I have yet to see atheists bomb churches, shoot people, put down others for believing differently, or anything of the sort.

Tell me, exactly how far up your ass WAS that statement?
CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IN NIGERIA:
Churches burned, 30,000 Christians displaced from their homes in Kano, rampant violence directed at Christians.
CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IN AMERICA:
Congress refuses to pass laws requiring everybody to attend Church.
@tracer - it's well worth noting a few things however:
1) Those Nigerian "Christians" really wouldn't be deemed such by their American counterparts - they're faith is really a mixture of Christianity with various African ancestor-worships (something that Christians would deem idolatory), and for the most part is outright money-scamming (I've been there... actual signs claiming that coming to church cures HIV/AIDS adorn their entrances).
2) Even more importantly - those attacks are not by atheists, they are by radical members of OTHER religions (mostly Muslims).
I would say - this statistic may have made (some) sense in the 80's there was widespread and genuine persecution of Christians (and every other religion) in communist countries under the name of enforced atheism but it's quite crazy to believe that Stalinism is representative of rational-atheist thinking as it largely exists in the world today - and certainly outside that particular piece of history - the claim is just simply ludicrous.
Wrong.
Christians attack Christian more, for one.
Disagreeing is NOT attacking, Christian just think it is, they must be victims, it's written.
Confused?
