Hell is a place of eternal torment and suffering. It's not going to be one big party. It's torment! Your soul will be burning in the hottest fire there could ever be forerver! It wont end! And by that time, it'll be too late for you to change your mind.

Le me get this straight. As a Catholic, I will according to Southern Baptist Fundies be thoroughly charred in Hell (so will Protestants sizzle in Catholic Hell), but then, all Christians (Catholic, Anglicans, Protestants...) will be scorched in Muslim Hell, and the whole bunch of monotheists will just as surely broil in Shinto Hell. Need I continue on with Buddhist or Mayan Hells?
Tell me then, in how many different Hells will my soul roast after death, in many cases forever... no matter what I believe in?
And by that time, it'll be too late for you to change your mind.
Then what possible point is there to it, other than to satisfy your god's sheer malevolence?
If that were true (which it isn't, at least I can't remember making such a place), then there would still be the big question: Which religion is right? The threat of hell, which any asshole with an agenda could make up, is not unique to Christianity.
Every religion is false. To claim differently is to offend me.
..and sense a soul has no nerve endings, it would mean dick if the fire was hotter than the sun, we will not feel it.
Not to mention you fundies cant even agree on what a soul is, or even the bible doesnt explain it.
Too late to "change your mind" minute one. Think you scare me?
You're at a conveniance store and five Maxicans with tatoos are at your car. They demand all your money and your car and you're going with them
I win.
Hey, if you want to believe that your god is a sadistic bully, that's your right. And, with such a world view, I am not surprised that you would want to desperately toady to such a god. Trust me, I get all of that.
I just have one question: how the hell (pun intended) do you conclude that said god is loving, just or rational?
Umm, nope. You don't fool me. Since human senses are physical in nature and require this body of ours to process them into comprehendable feelings such like burning sensation and such, i think you lose.
P.S. How about those guys, who have a neurological disorder and feel no pain (can't remember the name), even as they live? And another thing, i'll go to heaven, if i repent (as you and your babble says), but it doesn't specify at which point in life. I'll take it to the last few minutes.
You DO realize that God is fucking retarded for doing that? We're talking "There may be no brain function" levels of stupid. If someone wants to change someone else's behavior, why just threaten them with an impossible scenario when you can actually do something about it? Also, not letting people repent when it would be the easiest to make them do so? God probably can't find his own ass in the morning.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
