I really can't imagine that a clone would have a soul. I suppose it's possible, it depends on your point of view on spirituality I guess. Even though, I can see where if a clone is just an empty vessel that it could be very susceptible to some sort of demonic possession.

a bit like eve then, who as she was made from adams rib would be a genetic clone of adam.....
instant fail, just add fundie!!!
well, it wouldn't. you know, because there is no such thing as a soul. but it would be animate, it would be exactly like the person cloned from, except with different memories i suppose.
Oh noes! Dolly the Demonic Sheep is taking over the flock and we're all going to be baa-ed to death as we sleep!
In reality Dolly died an early death after suffering from arthritis and other degenerative ailments. She was at no time recorded as spinning her head through 360 degrees and projectile-vomiting pea soup.
Well, that's what the scientists say. But you know how they all lie.
It has precisely nothing to do with anyone's personal views on spirituality. How in the world can your views on something so irrelevant as spirituality change actual reality? A clone is a person with identical DNA as, well, at least one other human being. Which of course means that neither has an immaterial soul.
As the saying goes, "clones are people two".
Speaking of "empty vessel" Nancy,,,,
Oh come on...we all know that the lower orders don't have souls, they are simply animals that have no souls. Negroes, asians, hispanics, clones...what is the difference? Only white anglo saxon protestants really have souls as attested to by the KJV bible.
Just because they resemble a human with a soul doesn't mean they have one. They are obviously lower forms of life, manufactured humans especially. Personally I have invested heavily in the clone market in the hopes of bringing back slavery. I have already pre-ordered two Hannah Montana slave/clones...one for me and one for David J. Stewart.
Slave rape for jesus is back!!! BWAHahahahaha! (YEEHAW!) [/sarcasm]
@ausador
You win the interwebz!
"Clones you are, but the Force dwells in all living things."
At least, that's what a midget on TV said (well, roughly, anyway).
The thing that bothers me the most about this is that you just know that people going through life as clones are going to have a rough enough time worrying about whether they'll die young of short-telomere-induced progeria. If it got around to someone challenging whether they had a soul or not, I would expect said clone to deliver a beating.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
