What are the odds of the earth just popping into the PERFECT spot in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE?(that's a lot of space to pop up in) I think its because God did it, but if you want to go on thinking that the earth's position is random than I feel very sorry for you.

Ok. So let us assume he is correct. Gawd did it. And that gawd would be .....Vishnu? Zeus? Reminds me of the "first cause" argument. After they convince themselves that gawd exists, they just blinding assume that gawd is their gawd, without any proof.

I suggest you take a look at cosmology and astrophysics. The earth did not just "pop" into place.

What are the chances that I am on the ground right now, considering all of the points in space that I could be? Truly, the fact that if I were moved upward I would go right back down to the ground can only be explained by Jesus.

As for the perfect spot in the entire universe. There are many spots that would be suitable for a planet to support life. Most suns have a "green zone" so to speak, that isn't too hot or too cold to support life. We don't yet have the technology to really see other planets in other solar systems accurately enough to determine do they have planets orbiting the star within this "green zone".
The other arguments re: astrophysics have been made. The earth's orbit is elliptical, and the other planets don't seem to have exploded. But it's extreme arrogance to think that the ENTIRE UNIVERSE was made just so the earth would have this one place in it to never budge out of, on pain of destruction.
