Not only is homosexuality not a religion, but it is not being "preached," as you put it; it is being DESCRIBED -- and for a change, it is being described as a natural condition for many people. It is not being promoted; it just is no longer being demonized, at least not in the more progressive schools (and at least not on official levels otherwise -- well, not legally, anyway).

Get something clear, homosexuality and atheism are not related, nor are they religions.
Homosexuality is not a religion. People teach its acceptance because y'all've been harassing them "because my translation says so". This one can't even be Godwined, because the same sort of thing happened in WWII. Obligatory religion is kept out of school because America is upholding the first amendment, that of freedom of speech, press and religion, and that we should also uphold the statement that all people are created equal. Mindless jerk talking about double standards.
