Christians are being demonized constantly
Not being pandered to, or consider to be more equal to others isn't being demonized, it's democracy. Deal with it.
Politicians who run for office are given the secular purity test,
<cough>Bullshit<cough>. Please, don't sit there and act as if there isn't a backdoor religious test. If anyone who professed to be an atheist tried to run for president the first words out of your mouths would be about his lack of belief.
Christians are targeted for being Christians. Like Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee were targeted for being Christians.
By who? Where the the ads saying "Don't vote of Palin cause she's a christian"? There weren't any. You are lying through your damn teeth, I wonder what your "god" has to say about that?
You may like them, you may not, but the arguments against them, by the left was that they were Christians and UNFIT to serve as leaders of a secular nation.
No, the arguments by the left, and I should know because I was one of the people making them, was that Palin was unfit for the position of VP because she inexperience, proudly and willfully ignorant of damn near every thing that wasn't related to drilling for oil or hockey, and primarily because she openly and proudly exploited political divisons to insinuate that people who disagreed with her were somehow unamerican and to incite hatred against her opponent and not repudiate the people at her rallies that called for the death of a candidate, but instead she reveled in it. She was unfit for candidacy that placed her a missed heartbeat away from the presidency on many levels and not a single one of them had fuck all to do with her religious affiliation or beliefs. Huckabee however, was a non factor from the get go.
Secular nation. Those are important words, remember them.
Yes, remember them for they represent the intentions of the founders of the US as they pointed out in many of their writings on the subject.
Christianity is fast becoming a mark of UNFITNESS
So explain why nearly 80% of the nation is composed of self professed christians then? Surely the 20% that composes atheists, agnostics, and every other religious group in the entire fucking country can't be the only people running the entire country.
It's being applied to teachers
Where? Name one person who has be passed over of fired froma teaching position based only on their religious beliefs? Not people who were fired because they have violated the rules that apply them, but fired just because they were christian? You can't, because there aren't any.
to politicans to department heads
Who? Come on, name them? Name them and provide proof for your specious accusations?
to every strata and spectrum.
Then were is the proof for these claims? Your say so isn't going to cut it. Without any proof you are nothing more than another person on FC whining about how you are persecuted because your guy didn't win the last election. Pathetic.
Christian holidays are being minimized or even eliminated.
Maybe you failed to notice but the US is an multiethnic, multireligious society and your claim is essentially you being pissed that other religion's holidays that happen to converge with christmas are being recognized by the public as equal rather than subordanite to christian holidays.
If you haven't noticed,
I haven't, and neither have you, and any claim otherwise is nothing more than you lying for jesus.
Christians who spread the word are as likely to be arrested in this country for doing so, as they are in Saudi Arabia.
They are arrested in Saudi Arabia because it is a muslim theocracy where it is illegal to prosyletize any other religion.
No one has been arrested in the US because they were "spreading the word", not one single person. If they were you would be dropping names like a fandoy at a sci-fi convention, but you aren't. Just more pathetic persecution complex and lying for jesus.
This was what Hitler did to the Jews.
No it isn't. It's not even close. What Hitler did to the Jews was an open and overt campaign of persecution, and to compare christianity in the US to the state of Judaism in Nazi Germany is not only false, it's insulting.
The old Christians were persecuted for their beliefs
They were not persecuted for what they believed, they were persecuted for what they didn't. The Roman's were a superstitious lot who believed that not giving tribute to the gods would incur their wrath and that's why they persecuted christians, because they would not give sacrifice and tribute to the gods of rome, not because they worshipped a jewish carpenter. Fuck, can't you even be bothered to learn the slightest thing about the history of your own religion?
we are moving to that direction faster than I would have ever imagined
Since this whole tirade is in your imagination I hardly think so. I'm suprised you aren't accusing democrats of feediung christians to the lions in the DC zoo. I guess I'll have to give you a week for that.
Calling someone A Christian has become a word of insult among individuals
Only among non-christians, and not even all of them. Likely about 2-4% of the entire population of close to 400 million.
Neighbors are offended to discover that someone on their street is holding a Bible study in a private home
Bullshit. Lying. For. Jesus.
and appeals to the law to close them down. Cities are enacting zoning laws to give them the power to do just that.
First, no, they aren't. Second, Nowhere in the entire country does there exist a statute that would allow that, mainly because it's a violation of the "Free Exercise" clause of 1st ammendment of the US constitution. Last time I checked (About 45 seconds ago) the 1st Ammendment had not been repealed. You are propagating a blatent, outright, and provable lie. Now tell me, what part of "Thou shalt not lie" did you fail to understand?
Political pressure is being applied to Churches to secularize them and start the removal of the foundations of Christian belief
Where? By Whom? Come on, give us names? Oh yeah, you can't, because the US govenment doesn't have the power to apply "Political pressure" to any religious institution (That pesky 1st Ammendment again). Who is cordinating the "removal of the foundations of Christian belief"? Why, and to what purpose? Further more, why do you regard your religion as so fraagile that it can be destroy by suggestion alone?
The goal is, of course, to marginalize fundamental believers OUT of the Church.
And what would that accomplish? It's not as if fundementalists are unfamiliar with the idea of starting their own churches.
Oh no. I'm not wrong. I'm right
You're right, you aren't wrong, you are lying. You know it, I know it, and everybody who reads your facetious screed knows you are lying, wherther they admit it or not.
and it is something to prepare for
In your fantisies Kathy30, in your deluded, twisted, wannabe persecuted fantasies.
