"Well since it seems to be pick on Kansas day here I go."
Up your own arse. You'd find better company up there.
"I don’t think that there is anything wrong with teaching Intelligent Design as theory along with Evolution after all I don’t think evolution has been proven as a definitive fact. I don’t think that you would deny that the computer you are using is a product of intelligent design. In fact we take intelligent design for most of the luxuries we have for granted. Why is it so hard to think that you were intelligently designed?"
tl;dr. Fact is, Kitzmiller vs. Dover in 2005 completely destroyed 'Intelligent Design' (and therefore Creationism) once and for all (especially as a result of such, teaching such in all US schools, colleges etc is now illegal and unconstitutional). 'I.D.', and thus Creationism, is a lie. The law says so. And who decided that? Judge John E. Jones III - himself a Conservative Christian.
"I think considering Intelligent Design is being open minded."
After the laughingstock of a testimony & 'evidence' presented by the likes of Michael Behe et al in KvD, even the Conservative Christian Judge Jones had no choice but to close his own mind and find for the plaintiffs.
"Considering the consequences I think you would rather me be wrong than you."
I certainly wouldn't want to be Michael Behe. His 'cause' has now been utterly annihilated. By the law itself.
"If that makes me a dimwitted yahoo so be it."
Far be it from me to dispute you.
"Proud to be Kansan"
And an illiterate, 'hoemskuled' twat too. Myself, I'm a proud Englishman; also proud of the state education I received, where thinking for yourself is encouraged.
@Gloranor
"http://www.idrewthis.org/2005/kansas.html <-- Now THATS Kansan's openmindedness..."
So 'open' it seems, that it's disappeared completely*. Like said URL - and his so-called 'God' - this 'Kansan's mind doesn't exist. Even the quote link 404s. Go figure.
*- 'An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded.'
