First, let’s clarify that not believing in god is not necessary a fascist trade mark. Political ideology, though often closely related to religious identity, does not always dictate once religious affiliation.
Second, atheists don’t usually take pride in being a generous, charitable person; however, the church and most religious organizations do so. Churches actually collect money for the purpose of charity, that being said, one can expect churches to give money to the poor and judge them if they don't! If they don't give the money to those in need I would go as far as calling it embezzlement!
That being said, of course there are many very generous atheists out there, just as there are generous religious people. Again, religious identity does not make one charitable or greedy.
Third, it is not the case that atheists are out to attack anybody. As a matter of fact, atheists are rather welcoming to people of all creed, race, orientation, cultural background because they are not limited by the narrow rules of religious dogma. That does not mean we don’t speak up when we see injustice and wrong doing. We DO speak up against Muslim doctrine just as much as against Christian doctrine though, it is hard to differentiate between them Allah says Sharia Law, You say Leviticus!
Fourth, when it comes to Buddhism we are indeed more tolerant, but for a good reason: Buddhists, similar to wiccan, don’t try to convert us to their way of living. See, the thing with atheists is not that we hate god, we don’t believe there is one. Buddhists can accept that, just like they can accept your religious belief. So there is no reason to argue with them on the subject. Most other religions are bound by their doctrine to “wipe out the infidels” and to spread the word of their god. So, by following their religious dogma, most religious people are simply not allowed to be tolerant.
Now, go all back to being awesome!
