My reasons for doubting are simple, yet incredibly hard to explain. Let me say this: look at modern dogs. They vary so much in size, shape, and other characteristics, yet they are all dogs and are produced not by Evolution (chance mutations with survival of the fittest) but by their built-in ability to reproduce. Yet, if you were to give me a plethora of modern dog bones (died within the last few years), I could eventually assemble them in such a way as to make one set of bones appear to be an evolved version of another set. And I could easy do such a thing by insinuating (and assuming) that any "gaps" in my little "evolutionary record" are simply fossils that haven't been found yet, or have been destroyed by whatever means.

The Atheist peoples are scared of change.

The only problem with the Bible being stories and myth or whatnot is that it would be very unique. I mean, all of it's major players ahve huge falws with them. Look at David. Do you honestly think that you are the original in raising these questions? If the Bible could be proven false/and or/inaccurate, then Christianity wouldn't have survived 2000 years of persecution. I'm new to the forums but i just wanted to say that there has NEVER been any proof to the theory of Evolution. A few years back they thought they had found the 'missing link' but it turns out it was a fake. With that said I believe that evolution is complete crap!!!!

I think one misconception is that those who find truth and stop searching are therefore closeminded. Who would find truth and then keep searching? I say once the truth is found drop your anchor and set up camp, there is no reason to search any longer. Now that dosen't mean we shouldn't learn from other peoples viewpoints.
