The death penalty IS NOT MURDER. It is not killing for fun, it is not done in happiness or for even vengance, but it is a necessity, a device used so that peace can be achieved. It is an act of war the same as any other. It truly is an act of love towards society and a necessity to those who love peace. I believe that Jesus is for the death penalty, and expects punishment on those he loves.

My reasons for doubting are simple, yet incredibly hard to explain. Let me say this: look at modern dogs. They vary so much in size, shape, and other characteristics, yet they are all dogs and are produced not by Evolution (chance mutations with survival of the fittest) but by their built-in ability to reproduce. Yet, if you were to give me a plethora of modern dog bones (died within the last few years), I could eventually assemble them in such a way as to make one set of bones appear to be an evolved version of another set. And I could easy do such a thing by insinuating (and assuming) that any "gaps" in my little "evolutionary record" are simply fossils that haven't been found yet, or have been destroyed by whatever means.
If you dont see what im getting at , I feel very sorry for you. x=somthing yah it could equal 0 right? Yet the number 0 in this realm is not equal to nothing . The Atheist peoples are scared of change.

The only problem with the Bible being stories and myth or whatnot is that it would be very unique. I mean, all of it's major players ahve huge falws with them. Look at David. Great guy, man after God's own heart. Adulturer and murderer. He's not the perfect heroe like heroes should be. The Bible is all too true in its depiction of men.

Do you honestly think that you are the original in raising these questions? If the Bible could be proven false/and or/inaccurate, then Christianity wouldn't have survived 2000 years of persecution. I'm new to the forums but i just wanted to say that there has NEVER been any proof to the theory of Evolution. A few years back they thought they had found the 'missing link' but it turns out it was a fake. With that said I believe that evolution is complete crap!!!!

I think one misconception is that those who find truth and stop searching are therefore closeminded. Who would find truth and then keep searching? I say once the truth is found drop your anchor and set up camp, there is no reason to search any longer. Now that dosen't mean we shouldn't learn from other peoples viewpoints.
