The Atheist peoples are scared of change.

That's the main thing holding Atheists back from God. A fear of change. So when Christians talk about God they get all cut and slander Christians cause they are trying to justify the sinful world they live in. Hence their belief in evolution.

The peoples who created the big bang theory know it's bullshit... but they've convinced themselves in their minds that it's truth... cause they're afraid of change and having their egos destroyed.
But we as Christians know what is truth... not only in our heads but also in our hearts. We know what's truth cause we feel the truth and the heart doesn't lie. And that is why evolution will never destroy what faith we have.

The only problem with the Bible being stories and myth or whatnot is that it would be very unique. I mean, all of it's major players ahve huge falws with them. Look at David. Great guy, man after God's own heart. Adulturer and murderer. He's not the perfect heroe like heroes should be. The Bible is all too true in its depiction of men.

Do you honestly think that you are the original in raising these questions? If the Bible could be proven false/and or/inaccurate, then Christianity wouldn't have survived 2000 years of persecution. People aren't willling to be burned alive and cut in half for lies. The only way that I see anyone could stand by their beliefs through all this because a loving God changed their lives through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

I'm new to the forums but i just wanted to say that there has NEVER been any proof to the theory of Evolution. A few years back they thought they had found the 'missing link' but it turns out it was a fake. With that said I believe that evolution is complete crap!!!!

Of course Harry Potter isn't about Christianity. The reasons it opposes Christianity is that it supports magic. Magic is bad according to Christians. In the old testament you were commanded to kill anyone who was a witch. So you don't think kids really get into Harry Potter adn try to do magic and stuff? Ok, that's you opinion. All I want to ask is when is the last time you worked with kids? I think one misconception is that those who find truth and stop searching are therefore closeminded. Who would find truth and then keep searching? I say once the truth is found drop your anchor and set up camp, there is no reason to search any longer. Now that dosen't mean we shouldn't learn from other peoples viewpoints. I love hearing the otherside of things although I admit that I listen usually just so I can learn how to debate against them in the future. The word open-mindedness is tossed out there way too much. And if being closedminded means not allowing the worldly viewponts to be considered, then count me in.

i didnt read the article cause i dont have time. i have to leave in a bit but i saw the subject and i just want to point out a couple things.

1. scientists are even saying that there was most likely like 99% a worldwide flood.

2. wood (the same kind Noah used) has been found at the top of mount Arat(where the Bible says the ark landed). The bible said that the ark was above every mountain so thats how it got to the top in case your wondering.

3. explain the grand canyon

4. there have been fossils of fishes on the top of mountains. explain how they got there other than this.

5. there are many ancient documents on stone tabs that are almost exactly like the flood story. many point out that only one mans family survived.

Not really. If they used the Genesis account, it covers Christianity, Judaism (Orthodox Judaism, at least), and Islam. If they just do Genesis 1:1 ("In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.") then that covers pretty much every account of it but atheism, which says it isn't a religion anyway and therefore shouldn't complain--- its doctrine is already taught.
