[for the first 14 years of my life I was christian.]
You couldn't have been a Christian, because if you were, then you would know that Jesus is real.

"You couldn't have been a Christian, because if you were, then you would know that Jesus is real"....unless, of course, you realized that it was all mythology like I, and many others, have.
Of course Jesus is real! I've seen him. Actually, I met him at a party once. He was a bit drunk at the time, but he's nice enough once you get to know him. Actually, he's an atheist himself, but he's always being chased by a crowd of people who claim that he's "the messiah," or the "son of God." Jesus recently told me that he found his father; his father's a beer truck driver from Trenton. He won't tell the "Christians," though; they're too into the whole "virgin birth, son of God" thingie, and he's worried that they'd kill him if he revealed that he's just a low-level middle manager at some insurance company, that he WON'T take people off to paradise, that he's been creeped out by people who "love" him ever since the 60s ended, and that he actually deconverted from Judaism when he started to realize that there's no evidence for God and a lot of evidence to the contrary.
Just my story. Please don't copy and paste; Jesus doesn't want the "Christians" to know they've spent their lives worshipping an office drone, and Maronan doesn't want his little story spread to them.
I see. And what if the preacher who's told you all of this stuff one day decided he was an atheist? I guess that automatically forfeits his belief and the beliefs that he taught you, right? He was never a REAL Christian. You knew it all along, right?
Or you can know jesus, have all these experiences, until you finally wake the hell up and realize that you were lying to yourself.
At least thats what happened to me.
Confused?
