This is sick but… anyone can go online and get legal credentials to marry anyone. So… if the homo/lez wants to get married, have someone in their own perverted community get a license online and marry them. Wouldn’t they RATHER be married by their own kind instead of by a “Christian”? If they hate Christians… get your own license and start marring all the LGBTQXYZ you want to.

Because of the Paedophile Priests scandal which led to their castration, I'd say they have less right to object to a couple wanted to be married by them: a couple who are at least adult & consenting.

Oh, and many homosexuals ARE Christians. Why would they hate Christians in general? It’s only the fundie homophobes that persecute them.

The most famous gay couple in Sweden are both religious. One of them has had a series of TV-programs about Christianity. The other has an honorary doctorate in theology. One is a Catholic, the other is a Baptist.

Please explain what X, Y and Z stand for.

What does their marriage have to do with hating Christians? Grow up.

Well this is even something many have wanted to do, but having the ceremony doesn’t help a gay man’s husband see him in the hospital’s ICU if things go horribly wrong, and also makes inheritance after death a pain in the ass, because there was still no legal recognition of it. Now, they can have someone in their community do the ceremony, and there’s actual legal recognition.

And not a single church has been forced to perform marriage ceremonies for homosexual couples. Those doing it, the pastors do it entirely of their own free will.

Why is it sick? If people who love each other want to get married, nobody is to say they can’t, it doesn’t “marr” bigots like you (deliberate typo?). They can be married by civil celebrants and even some churches are coming to the wedding party now, the Uniting Church here. Happy days!
