From a believer’s perspective, Christian monarchy is seen not merely as a political institution but a sacramental one. Once upon a time Christian monarchs were anointed, thus becoming like priests of Israel. What their powers should be, or what to do about bad or inept kings, could be discussed; but all along monarchy reflected a society’s recognition that, as Christ said to Pilate, all authority comes from God.

The notion of democracy is founded upon the lie that government is not ultimately personal, that there is no Person to whom “We the People” must answer, and that therefore “We the People” can do whatever they please. That is its appeal to those who refuse to be bound by any external standards of truth and justice, not to mention the lumpen-proletarian multitudes who just love living off other people’s labor.

Democracy is not only unworkable, it is evil. The idea of "popular" government is but the rejection of the sacred in national life in favor of the blasphemous superstition that authority derives from below—in this case, from much farther down below than we imagine.

In Christianity it is said that all men (I guess women not so much) are endowed with free will and to be judged later.
If you believe that all people no matter of their free will endowed by god should live their life by your interpretation or the interpretation of the bible of a king, than you step between the relation between god and the single human, in fact you put yourself not only over that person but also over god, because in the case that you are wrong you have forced somebody to live outside of gods teachings.
If you are sure yourself that you are right, do not be fooled into believing that the relationship between god and somebody else is your place to judge. In fact I will say it outright, democracy enables that personal relation better than any other system.
So, no you'd try to change the way god created men, you would try to yourself to become a god would you really support such a system.

(PS: I'm still an atheist, I'm just arguing within the philosophy of another)

@checkmate: nope, by definition of the crime, none of this moronic dreck counts as treason in the USA. (U.S. constitution, article III, section 3.)

i'm always curious about why people think this sort of strict hierarchical kyriarchy makes internal sense, though. yes, yes, it makes everybody directly accountable to somebody else --- except the one guy at the very top, and who made that sumbich so exceptionally remarkable that he don't need a boss? and conversely, if he doesn't need to be kept strictly in line in a hierarchy, why do the rest of us?

hierarchies have their place and their uses, but they fundamentally make assumptions that not all humans meet. some of us really CAN function in anarchies, or extremely flat and informal organizational structures, even better than in militarily rigid hierarchies. this is a GOOD thing that needs to be taken advantage of.

Once upon a time the same thing happened to most kings, whether they were inept or not; they were killed by people who wanted to sit on the throne themselves.

We the People have to answer to the Law and to the Justice system. Most people DO whatever they please, as most people don't want to harm others or cause mayhem and distress.

You do know that it is the proletariat that does most of the laboring, right?

Many have already said it: "Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all other systems that we've tried".
Move to North Korea or Saudi Arabia if you don't like Democracy, Srdja, Or perhaps Uzbekistan; they'd be able to pronounce your name, I bet.

Christian kings are still anointed - read, for example, the British coronation service.

It's nice to see something of Srdja Trifkovic's political philosophy, not least that it is as unappealing as everything else about him. He is a US-based publicist and ex-PR man for Radovan Karadzic who runs a site putting the case for extreme Serbian nationalism and, most notably, denial of acts of genocide at Srebrenica.

Needless to say, he is used as a source and warmly supported by people such as Pamela Geller. In fact, Srdja Trifkovic cares rather little about the US in comparison to Serbia's and Orthodox Christianity's right to rule over the land of people they kill. Mr Trifkovic has been banned from entering Canada as a promoter of racial hatred. With characteristic understatement, Atlas Shrugs described that democracy as 'Canuckistan.'

Nope, the People have to answer to the other people. Politicians who do atrociously dumb things rarely get re-elected. (In principle.)

Absolute monarchs like what you're advocating, incidentally, answer to absolutely no one, not even God. If they fail to be godly and enlightened, they rarely if ever get zapped dead from heavens, you know. They can continue to do atrociously dumb things - until someone in the public, you know, the group they're supposed to protect, gets so pissed off that there's a bit of a defenestration in the air.
