Lauren Boebert: The NRA, Turning Point USA & Patriot Guard Riders are not extremist groups. This political vetting of our National Guard sets an awful precedent. Any student of history would be rightly concerned.

Um, cops supported the riot.
Cops attended thd riot.
Lawmakers encouraged the riot.
We're not vetting conservstives or even people who voted for Trump, but insurrectionists.

Weird list and sounds bogus. NRA might be a tick against somebody but would be too broad to be useful. Patriot Guard Riders might sound shady but mostly they provide honor guards for military funerals if nobody else can.
Turning Point USA would probably make a watch list for this sort of thing though and it should. It’s the sort of organization that carefully sanitizes it’s public image but it’s leaders have ties to known right wing militia groups.

I guess that it's not just the NRA that are not only morally bankrupt.

I was watching TV news earlier and they were talking about vetting the National Guard troops stationed around the Capitol for Biden's inauguration. I assume that's what that first comment was referring to.

Probably the Patriot Guard thing is a reference to this:

a subgroup of the PGR came out for Trump. They were asked not to wear the PGR badge at rallies.
