I mean, I also have a lot of anime waifu’s, sure. And I don’t know if I’m alone in that, but I look at more than their appearance; also their personalities and skills to determine if they’re waifu material. So, I’m certainly not going to judge people for fapping to mere drawings. If it keeps one sexually satisfied without harming anyone, fine by me.

The last season I watched was the one where they killed Adam. The whole scenario plays out like a fanfic written by someone who prefers their headcannon to the actual cannon.
So that's why... Even though they implied that the guy is a abusive prick all the way in season 1 (volume one) and what he did in volume three made that implications explicit when he went after her like a bastard boyfriend who doesn't take rejection well, and oh yeah HE CUT OFF YANG'S ARM SO OF COURSE SHE WANTS PAYBACK... Seriously how do you bastards not understand this and ramifications of these actions!? Sure there parts of settings I like that doesn't make too much sense but I don't just decide it's not Canon just because I don't like it! The creators determine what's Canon or not, not you or your ilk!
For those whom might be interested, I found this page about Blake, and they don’t have mention of any mental retardation (if suffering from intellectual disability was ever an evil thing) but mostly issues about self-worth.

yeah, which is why I don’t understand their whole argument in the first place, Adam is a total asshole throughout, not just due to him being an abusive boyfriend (who appears to be a few years older than her which just adds all manner of disturbing implications) but also a bastard who does not give a shit about how many people he has to kill to get what he wants, which he claims to be for the good of his (heavily oppressed) Faunus people but it’s pretty much confirmed that he is only after power by this point so I’m glad he’s dead now.

The irony of that comment is that one of the reasons Adam’s (and portrayal) death on the show was because it went against many popular headcanons and theories that weebs projected on him before we were properly introduced to the character.
They had this idea in that he was meant to be this Anti Hero type and when he turned to be *not* that… It was akin to the whole “Snoke is Plaguies” theories the “Star Wars” fandom had back in the day, before “The Last Jedi” came out.
The Adam controversy, in my opinion, brought out a lot of anger from weebs and incel types, and is a general goldmine for homophobic, misogynistic and abuse apologist comments; especially with the utter fanaticism they have for the character.

which makes it even funnier, I watch the damn series since it came out and I noticed the implications that Adam is a bastard to some degree but didn’t know to what extent, seriously, there’s likely a lot of things that lead to Blake leaving the White Fang, one of which is due to Adam’s brutality and abuse.
and even funnier yet I wouldn’t be surprised that Adam would hate the Weebs and Incels that give him phrase for a number of reasons, just like old school Nazis would hate modern Neo-Nazis
