[Regarding a gay couple being allowed to marry in the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego:]
“The decision took me by surprise and I’m concerned,” Bishop Juan Carlos, of the southern city of Rio Gallegos, told the Argentine news agency DyN. He called the marriage “an attack against the survival of the human species.”

Attack against the survival of the human species?
I thought that was reserved for, you know...GENOCIDE.
It's not an attack because it's only anywhere from 2-13% of the population that is homosexual. And gay people would be having sex anyway; I guess it's the official term marriage that's the "attack." Not that this guy will ever read this, but uh-if it was a choice, why would anyone choose to be "against the survival of the human species"?
I'm actually glad (objectively, since there is still prejudice against it) homosexuality exists; we have too many people to support on this planet as it is!
Thats funny, I call religion "an attack on rational thought and development" or "an attack on freedoms and rights by a self-centered egomaniacal power regime"
That's just me, though
Clean your own house Catholics, then maybe you achieve some higher moral ground
What about all that child abuse within the Catholic Church? Is that not more of an attack against the survival of the human species. After all, those pedophile priests were targeting our progeny, our descendants.
When the Catholic church can be honest with itself and the rest of the world, then I'll care about what it has to say. Until then, it can blow me.
"He called the marriage “an attack against the survival of the human species.”"
A bishop who, by Catholic law, doesn't get married or have children says what?
Don't worry, I'm sure there are plenty of straight people to keep the human race alive.
Why do people assume that if you allow one gay marriage, suddenly everyone else will go gay?
Just so I'm clear on this: This is worse than a thousand nuclear weapons or an asteroid the size of California heading for earth, right?
soooo, why am I still here? Why hasn't the earth split in halves?
You know what else is an "attack against the survival of the human species" by your logic?
Catholic clergymen (and women). They don't reproduce either.
Well, at least...not usually ...
Confused?
