“When you can prove the science you're teaching, then say that.”
Not how it works. We can find holes in your hypothesis whether or not we even have one.
Science has rules, one if which is ‘no magic.’ So any story about a supernatural creator is automatically not even bad science. It’s just not science.
And besides, plenty of scientists feel confident that the evidence for evolution is pretty compelling. Whether you understand science or not…
“The fact is, you can't prove that either”
Nothing in science is PROVEN. But it is falsifiable. Ublike creationism.
“Intelligent design is saying that matter + energy + information (not chance chemisty) = creation.”
They did show, in court, that ID just crips from Literal Bible Creationism, with a few words changed. So, it’s religion. Not science.
“And since chance chemistry has been proven virtually impossible,”
What the fuck do you mean by ‘virtually’ impossible? I mean, even if the odds are (some incredibly large number someone pulled out of their ass) to 1 against, that’s still possible.
AND, cool thing, if something happened in the past, the odds against it (and for it) are 1:1.
I rolled three Yahtzees in my dice game last night, the odds of that happening are 1:1. Because it did. The chances are small that it’ll happen tomorrow, but you can’t use odds to dismiss historical events.
"I don't understand how you can insist on anything.”
Yeah, that’s the most agreeable statement you’ve made.
