Genocide is when man commits mass murder. When God cleans the slate, it isn't genocide, its justice. You forget, even if there were 10 righteous, he would have spared them all.
God murdering the innocents of Egypt?
Murder is the unlawful taking of life. Since God is the law maker, I dont think that term applies.
Everlasting torture...
Everlasting torture is the judgment of a perfect God on the sins of men. I don't think you are in a position to complain about it, so I would start making plans on how you can avoid it. Or you can be cast there, and feel vindicated, that you are soooo wronged.

Personally I think your god was just being lazy and couldn't be bothered to go looking.
So it's perfectly acceptable for God to send everybody to hell and make up Christianity as a cruel deception?
Well I guess he's the lawmaker, right?

Therefore members of Congress have free license to murder.
Here's a clue, assgrant. Your god can't make a law and, then, break it with impunity. If he is above his own law, he's not almighty or omnipotent. Think about it, you heretic. It's basic theology.
If such an assaholic god existed, I'd hate that horrible, vile monster and couldn't even begin to pretend to love it or gag worship it.
So, I guess I'd just be danged to heck. Oh well.
"Since God is the law maker"
Magna Carta.
"When God cleans the slate, it isn't genocide, its justice."
How the fuck is it justice? Huge false dicotomy!
"Everlasting torture is the judgment of a perfect God on the sins of men."
He's the one doing th torturing, that would make him the sinner.
I'll break, but i'll never bend. Fuck you, you tyrant lover, you're a shame for mankind if you willingly follow a genocidal murderous asshole.
Might makes right award.
Does the Rule of Law mean nothing to you? One component of the Rule of Law: no one is above the law. No, not even the law maker. Therefore, the term murder applies and God is guilty on numerous accounts.

Didn't Nixon try that one to get around that little Watergate mishap?
Oh come one, you fundies perspective is so skewered. I don't know how big Sodom or Gomorrah was, but they weren't little villages, were they really all so obsessed with sin that not even one baker, or custodian or whatever actually did their job ?
The problem is; by your definition, everyone can be interpreted as a sinner, leaving heaven, rather empty.
*in best Nixon impression* I'm saying that when the President does it...it's not illegal.
Any way you slice it, this post is made of so much juicy, delicious failure...
I finally have figured out what they mean by God's love. It is like when your playing a FPS game and killing hundreds and say "damn I love this game!"
Thats it isn't it?
If it is at least I can kinda understand why he is so completely bloodthirsty and maniacal. Of course if I'm wrong then thier God is just a psycho...like I always believed before.
Pol Pot, Adolf Hitler, Slobodan Milosevic - all lawmakers, all guilty of genocide. International law fail.
"You forget, even if there were 10 righteous, he would have spared them all."
Not initially. A human with higher moral had to convince him first. By adulating him.
Not a god I would recommend to worship.
"You forget, even if there were 10 righteous, he would have spared them all. "
Someone needs to reread Joshua. Among other books of the Bible.

I doubt a deity who punishes by eternal torture is perfect. If it is then I am glad to follow deities that aren't perfect but loving and caring. And if he is a parent,he is abusive.
"Murder is the unlawful taking of life. Since God is the law maker, I dont think that term applies."
Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot were lawmakers as well. Using your logic, it's okay that they killed ~12 million, 20+ million, and ~1 million respectively.
"You must be guilty. I don't arrest innocent people!"
And yes, no matter how you paint it, and pretty it up, there is no sin, ABSOLUTELY no sin that can justify eternal torment. A set amount of time, perhaps, or with the possibility to repent and redeem, possibly. But to just chuck away to be tormented for the rest of time is not the act of a loving and just god. It's the act of a sadist.
Okay, those who make laws aren't bound by them. Kewl. It's awesome when authoritarians are this honest about the fact that they believe that a tyrannical dictatorship is fine as long as they approve of the dictator. I guess it only becomes a problem when the Wrong Sort of dictator is in charge, then.
And hey, for added points, he even expresses approval for torture, especially eternal torture, and serves that approval up piping hot with a side order of Blame the Victim.
Confused?
