The Marlboro Man has been violated by the Gay Mafia! In their attempt to "normalize" men butt slamming other men, they have raped the final frontier of masculinity...The Cowboy.
Some people have given me a hard time about not going to see this movie. "Give it a chance" they tell me. Is that what Michael Jackson said to the little boys that he violated. I don't want to give it a chance. I think that men schtupping other men is freaking wrong! Period, end of fucking story!
I think this movie is an attempt by the Backdoor Mafia to normalize what is wrong. From everything I read, it wants you to "Feel" for the men for the pain they endured in their relationship with each other. What about the ruined lives of the one that was married with children? No focus on that, but then again, the left does not care about the normal family unit which consists of one mom, one dad, a couple of kids and a dog...That's normal. To the left, and their gay supporters, it is wrong.
My idea of gay rights is 10% off of a tube of vaseline. Take it and get back in the fucking closet!

Yep, having three kids and a cat is clearly of the new deal persuasion.
What a bastion of tolerance you aren't!
Final frontier of masculinity? Ever heard of 'The Village People'? And for funny to believe that there were never gay cowboys (or cops, or doctors or bodybuilders, or etc) until recently. The "INVASION" is going according to plan I guess. Hah!
Why does every movie have to deal with every aspect of everything? This was a story about what it was a story about. That's the beauty of going to movies; you don't know what it is going to be about. If it wasn't dealing with enough broken home stories, watch the Sunday Night Disease Of The Week Movie.
Vaseline for anal lube? What century do you live in?

Am I the only one weirded out by the fact that the dog seems to count as much as a spouse or child in his model family? -_-"
I don´t know what I find funnier about this guy. Either his power for stereotypes(the cowboy is supposed to be "manlier" than, say, a gardener?), second, his inability to differentiate fact from fiction(he´s talking about the Brockenback Mountain. The Marlboro man died of cancer several years ago), unable to understand that it´s a movie, not a violation, and that the actors are even heterosexual in real life. And third, the inability to understand the pun of the movie. Precisely, they are all unhappy in their heterosexual relationships and reject them as "normal" because they have chosen them pushed by the hypersexual mob of the time. If they had had freedom, they wouldn´t have married and then, none of the problems would have taken place.
And this movie, just for a change is like all those novels about adultery in the 19th century. Of course they sympathise with the sorrows of Karenin and Charles Bovary, who are the cuckolds in the story. However, the point is precisely to show the terrible consequences of those loveless and arranged marriages, where the rights of the woman were not considered. The authors, not accidentally, wanted to make propaganda of the marriage where the people choose whom they want to marry, something that now is normal BUT NOT AT THE TIME. And the usual moralists, not by chance, made similar remarks.
My very mucho hetero male friend is buying me a Gay Mafia hat. Posts like this just make me want him to hurryupandgetthefuckonline so we can work out the details already!
And anyway, you're an idiot. The Gay Mafia did all this years ago by being born on ranches and shit. At least be accurate as possible if you're going to be an illogical douche.
And finally. Most anyone that liked the movie felt sorry for everyone involved including the wives and kids.
Uh ... the entire point of the movie was the ruined lives. It's an extremely depressing movie for exactly that reason. There was a huge focus on Ennis' wife and how she handled what she saw happen between her husband and Jack. How it tore at her. If this clown would watch it, he would have seen that and would be using it as a reason why teh ghey is bad, which would at least be a passable argument. Still wrong, but it would be better than what he actually said.
Well, I can sympathize with one aspect of this guy's rant: I cannot abide adultery (i.e., cheating on a spouse or significant other), even in fiction.
I was in a therapy group once in which this one guy was a porn addict finally accepting his homosexuality -- after having been married for at least 10 years, if I recall right. He even went and cheated on his wife with a guy, just to finally experience gay sex; and the rest of the group, including the psychiatrist, said, "Good for you!"
I, however, was appalled (by the group as much as by him) and left the group rather than continue with a bunch of people congratulating a guy on cheating on his wife because of his confused sexuality. Cheating is cheating, and the reasons do not matter; there is no justification for it. I didn't care a bit whether he was straight, gay, or whatever. But he had pledged himself to his wife, and he had no right to cheat on her (legally, maybe, but not morally or ethically). If he was that sure he wanted out of the closet, he should have honorably divorced his wife before he started screwing around.
I have no sympathy for this poster's homophobia, but he has a point about the cheating aspect. Neither gays nor straights deserve the slightest sympathy for cheating on their spouses, no matter what society is like at the time.

Firstly, homosexuality and pedophilia are completely different things. Secondly, just cuz you don't approve does not make it the end of the story.

Hey, you know what? I think this bit was sorta plagiarised from this weirdo Christian website. It uses the same 'Marlboro Man' comparison... etc. Just skip past the addendum, which for some reason is at the top of the page.
Something tells me this guy has one of those singing fish on his wall.
I wonder how infuriated he got when he woke up the next morning and realized that it was, in fact, not the end of the fucking story.
I haven't seen Brokeback Mountain in its entirety, but (correct me if I'm wrong) doesn't it actually show their wives as sympathetic characters who feel hurt by their affair?
Also, @Zipperback: Yes, and a capo di fruity capo.

Actually, there WAS a good bit of focus on that. How Ennis' marriage to her to be "normal" just disintegrated. Spectacularly, I might add. And the fact that he honored his obligations to his family, and tried to maintain relationships with them, as well, regardless of the pain it caused him. Yeah, they totally just sluffed that part off.

Awwww ...does seeing two men together make your pee-pee tingle...?
"My idea of gay rights is 10% off of a tube of vaseline"
No, that's a gay discount, but you've got to have your gay card at purchase.
Confused?
