In 1937, a 5 year old gave birth to a healthy child. This was in Peru. Was she able to survive, yes she was. So is a 5 year can survive childbirth, then 13 year olds can give birth perfectly fine.

That has to be the most outrageously unlikely event to ever occur.

That girl was raped. The fact that her extended family is as able to get her through the pregnancy and help her raise the child to adulthood does not change the fact that she was raped. It's sort of a miracle she went on to get married (which, you will note, she did as an adult) and have more children and apparently a decent life.
The lesson most people draw from that story is NOT that raping her was okay.

Precocious Puberty, Rape then Pregnancy....All before turning Six. Awful. I hope the little one at least was allowed to be a child afterwards and her offspring raised as a sort of "younger sibling" until she grew up (or was put up for adoption).
A small child should be playing outside, going to school, playing with toys....little kiddo things....not having a baby and raising it.
Sadly; They never found out who fathered the baby and the girl refused to tell.

Interestingly, her second son was born when she was at an unusually (although not exceptionally) old age, at 38 or 39. Also, apparently, she is still alive.
Yeah, one anecdote disproves all the medical advice against it.
