This is how history works. Right now, the "western" world (ie white people) contains the most powerful countries in the world. A few centuries from now, maybe they'll be in Africa. Or maybe China. Or maybe South America (Brazil's looking pretty good).
Around 900 years ago, it was China and the Middle East. When the christians in Europe started getting too violent (you know, the crusades), the Middle Eastern Countries, who had engaged in a policy where monotheistic religions were all more or less equal (Islam was a bit more equal than others) started engaging in discrimination against Christians (you know, kind of like the discrimination that we Western Countries make against Muslims/Arabs). Most important was what happened in the Ottoman empire, where Orthodox Christians, mostly Greeks, fled to European nations, most notably Italy to give you an idea of the timescale, the first crusade was in 1095, and this didn't really start happening until the 1300s. This led to an infusion of Middle Eastern ideas into Europe, and suddenly we had Humanism and the Renaissance. Europe surged ahead of the Middle East after this (although, once again, that took quite a bit of time wait until the 1800s before it was clear Europe was taking over).
What's my point? The world changes. Because of the USA's apparent discrimination against Arabs, many of them may choose to rejoin the Middle East, especially since there appear to be a few democracies there now. But you can't make an argument based on that about who is superior. We all have had/will have our day in the sun.
Sorry about all that, I have a couple history exams coming up and I think I felt a need for a refresher.
Oh and BTWs, those of you making racist comments back at this guy, please, for the love of (pick your diety) STFU!
