Rick Warren wants us to pray for the Catholic church council as they select a new Pope? Really? What should we pray, that they repent of their apostasy, and come to true saving faith that is found only in repenting of "good works" and placing their faith solely in Christ's finished work upon the Cross?

I find it so funny that the Catholic Church establishes a religion and compiles a Bible, then some people protest against the catholic church and establish their own version of the same religion while removing books from the Bible the Catholics compiled. Now, we have the two sides bickering about who is right yet they both teach the same thing about a Jewish zombie who made a human sacrifice of himself to himself because he couldn't figure out a way to forgive people without murder being involved.
Religions is so divisive.
Wait, wait. I think you'll find you are the apostates. There was this whole big thing about leaving the One Church and starting a marginally different religion a couple odd centuries ago. Some Martin Luther guy was involved.
No, not the black guy with the dream.
yhvh sez:
Been rapein? Luv jezes? Welcum to hevin
Been charityin? No luv jezes? Gtfo hevin
Ah, the bigotry shows through here.
Learn about Catholicism before making such hateful comments, you evil cow. the apostasy shoe could be on the other foot - your foot!
Yeah well they don't like you either. I wish you'd get back to fighting each other some more. Protestants' critical analysis of the Catholic church is part of the reason I'm an atheist today.
I already thought you people were nuts. It was just another small step to realize my church was just as nuts. Hearing it come from your insane mouths was part of that step.
Begging forgiveness for the nice, altruistic, and/or benevolent things you did in your life?
This almost explains the religious right's general attitude and persistent sabatoge of anything remotely in the public's better interests.
Cindy, your owns views actually make the Catholic church seem tolerant by comparison. That's some achievement.Very well done.
I think Cindy is an example of someone who claims to be a follower of Jesus, but is in fact a disciple of Paul of Tarsus, the real Protestant Messiah.
"What should we pray, that they repent of their apostasy, and come to true saving faith that is found only in repenting of "good works""
To quote Jesus...
"Faith without works is dead"
Confused?
