"Planet X is coming..."
What's the RA/DEC I should point my telescope at to see it? I have multiple scopes ready, just need to know where to point them. I'm sure everyone in our local astronomy club (and for that matter, every other astronomer on EARTH) would want to know this, too.
What, you don't know? If you haven't directly observed this with your own eyes, how do you know it's there? Hmmm? How do you know it's not just some made-up shit?
Oh, so it's "cloaked"? And really, really far away? (Note to self: What I think is cloaked and really, really far away is the OP's grasp of reality...)
1. Prove this "cloaking" is possible, for anything, even something as small as a coffee cup, in laboratory conditions.
2. Prove this "cloaking" is possible for a large, planet-sized object. Prove this by cloaking our moon, which should be easy. Show us the power source required to "cloak" something the size of our moon, and demonstrate its ability to do so at a distance.
3. Prove your alien intelligence exists, and is using this "cloaking" technology to hide a planet-sized object from all of us on planet earth. Then explain why they would want or need to do this.
When you can successfully prove any or all of the above, I'll be interested. And also, quite likely, so will the Nobel prize committee. Until then, my position is that you're just making this shit up.
Oh, yes, and "Star Trek" movies are not considered sufficient proof. And no, it's not up to us to prove there ISN'T such a thing out there. YOU claim there is, so it's YOUR burden of proof. You're claiming there's a scary monster in the closet, I'm asking you to show it to us. Until then, leave us adults alone.
