You are actually agreeing with me that the 1964 Civil Rights Act does not apply to or protect the gays/LGBTQs from discrimination in public accommodations.
The 1776 US Constitution enacted the "separation of Church and State" policy, not the separation of Mosque/Temple and State.
The 1776 US Constitution also prohibited the powerful US government from restricting her citizens' rights to freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom to protest peacefully to seek redress and freedom to bear arms. In theory, this protection applied to Christian and non-Christian citizens. But in 1776, nearly all US citizens were Whites and/or Christians = about 99%, ie no Moslems or Hindoos.
In the early 1800s, Blacks were brought into USA as slaves, mostly to work in the cotton fields in the South. In 1861, the mostly Christian White citizens killed each other over slavery and politics and were henceforth split into Northern White liberals and Southern White conservatives = became perennial enemies. And 1 century later, US citizens would include sizable numbers of Moslems and Hindoos who were mostly immigrated into USA by the vote-pandering White liberals of the Blue States in the North and West.

What a revelation! The US Constitution enacted 12 years earlier than all the history books claim. I’m afraid Louwen is low on any fact scale. For that matter, the government could scarcely have been called “powerful” at its 1787 inception. And … too many more errors, sloppy grammar, and gibberish to count.
Why do you call them "Moslems" and "Hindoos"? Are you stuck in the 1800's?
The "Separation of Church and State" means that RELIGION shouldn't have influence over politics, and vice versa, regardless of which religion.
The Fourteen Amendment has Equal Protection of the Laws. That does apply to and protects the "gays/LGBTQs".

That is the complete text of the first amendment of the Constitution of the US.
Nothing in there draws a distinction between Mosques and Churches. The only reason why the text is paraphrased using the word “church” is (a) the whole point of paraphrasing is to use different words, so we don't want to use the noun phrase “establishment of religion”, and (b) Church/Temple/Mosque is too long and clumsy to make a good catchphrase.

Side note: Mostly true, it actually kind of doesn’t. LGBTQIA+ rights weren’t on most people’s radars until 1969. Some states have passed protections since then anyway. Democrats in congress have been trying to fix that with an “Equality act” every few years since the late 1990s. It has always failed for various reasons (the latest version is being withheld from Senate vote indefinitely, thanks Mitch McConnell). The Clinton and Obama administrations’ Justice Departments used legal guidelines based creative interpretations of Title VII of the Civil Rights act, but that’s only a limited and inconsistent protection which mostly goes away during a Republican administration.
The US needs an Equality Act - as long as that line of argument exists, the rights of LGBTQIA+ people in most conservative states (and a few centrist states) can never be guaranteed.
I think it’s actually a division between RELIGION and state, the First Amendment, which plenty of “the free exercise thereof” takes place in mosques, temples, and people’s homes. Section 116 of our Constitution, is almost exactly the same, just “the Commonwealth” instead of Congress.

However, what you do need is a bill, giving equal rights for LGBTI people, and outlawing discrimination against them. We’ve had one, in my state, since 1982 it’s been covered by the Anti-Discrimination Act.
