Evolution is a religion because it takes alot of faith to believe in the big boom theory. If it was true, why have other planets not had a big boom. If Evolution is true, why are there still fish in the sea? Why haven't all the fish started walking upright?
You can make fun of me, but I take praying for your soul seriously.
One day you will regret that it is a joke to you.

1 - It's the big BANG theory... get it right please.
2 - The big bang did not create the planet, it created the *universe*.
3 - If what you *meant* to ask about was life on other planets, we don't know if there is or not.
4 - I'm not going to bother explaining evolutionary paths to you. It would take too long and you still wouldn't get it.
5 - The only joke I see here is you.
Here's a tip, before you start to criticize a scientific theory learn what the damn theory states. At the very least read the article at wikipedia. Not everything there is correct, but it's a hell of a lot better than your strawmen. Once you get that figured out maybe then you can say something and not look like a complete moron.
Yeah, the Creature from the Black Lagoon turned out to be a made-up story. That is, fish will be fish, and all that.
As for the last part, the God that I'm familiar with has a sense of humor.
Betty, I hope this doesn't perturb you, but evolution has absolutely nothing to do with the Big Bang (or Boom, if you prefer).
"You can make fun of me...."
Okay, I will.
"but I take praying for your soul seriously."
My soul is fine.
"Why are there still fish in the sea?"
Perhaps, that was GOD's idea. Understand, twit!?
Evolution is not a religion. Time to reconsider kindergarten.
We need a separate section for these Rapture Ready dolts.
Evolution is a religion because it takes alot of faith to believe in the big boom theory.
Three errors in one sentence: (a) The Big Bang theory has nothing to do with evolution. (b) Based on prior experience, you have "faith" that a chair won't vanish as you sit down on it. Does that make sitting down a religion? Something isn't a religion simply because it involves inductive reasoning. (c) The Supreme Court already ruled decades ago that teaching evolution can't be banned in public schools on the grounds that it's a "religion" under the First Amendment.
If it was true, why have other planets not had a big boom.
They have. They're called supernovas. That has nothing to do with the misleadingly labeled "Big Bang" theory.
If Evolution is true, why are there still fish in the sea? Why haven't all the fish started walking upright?
Evolution isn't a ladder leading to humans. There will be bacteria long after humans are extinct. Dolphins were land animals that evolved back into the sea.
One day you will regret that it is a joke to you.
Why? Evolution isn't anti-God. It's perfectly possible to believe in both, and many do. Evolution contradicts a literal reading of Genesis, but just because someone doesn't believe there was literally a talking snake and magic fruit doesn't mean they're an atheist. Furthermore, there is lots of other science that contradicts Genesis. If you succeeded in disproving evolution, Genesis would still be wrong.
Let's see Betty, so far you are batting 0 for 1000. Evolution is not a religion, it has nothing to do with an afterlife or moral system so it doesn't meet the definition. The "big boom" was universe wide so it "happened" on other planets. There are still fish in the sea because that's where fish live, they don't walk upright because they're fish, therefore they swim and do fish stuff and walking upright doesn't qualify as fish stuff. I would be truly sorry for making fun of you had you not insisted on attempting to attack ideas you obviously do not understand and did not even bother to study before assaulting. If you are totally ignorant of a concept DO NOT parrot another's ignorance!
This post reminds me of that Bugs Bunny cartoon where Marvin the Martian is trying to blow up the Earth:
"Where's the Kaboom? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering Kaboom!" </Marvin the Martian>
why have other planets not had a big boom
...is it even worth commenting on?
Many people don't understand what the Big Bang theory actually states.
Some people just make stuff up, and declare victory.
Forget splinters in my forehead, this time it's the whole fucking desk.
I know your pain. I'm seriously considering having an air-bag installed into my desk...
Awww .... I'm touched.
Oh yes, its the BIG BANG. And its the whole universe.
Evolution, the idea of mutation is RANDOM. Some don't mutate, those who do spread the mutation, most likely beneficial, on. The fish in the sea are remains of an ancient civilisation in the ocean that are, technically, our ancestors. (I think I was crapping here.)
The Big Boom? If I wasn't at work, I'd laugh out loud, for real.
Dearie; cosmology is not the same as biology, just as carpentry is not the same as economics.
You need to read up on the ToE, you only have the strawman version. As long as you stick with this, we will indeed make fun of you.
If you're older than 14; go back to school right now!
Evolution - Biology
Big BANG - Cosmology
The Big Bang concerns the whole Universe, not just our planet, stupid.
Fishes are just as much evolved as we are; they fit their particular niche in Nature, we fit our niche.
You being this ignorant is a joke, not you being religious. Most Christians take evolution and gravity for granted. Religion has nothing to do with Biology.
@Mikgof
Big Boom. I like it! Poor Betty. I think that she has been hit with the idiot stick. Repeatedly.
I think she fell out of the Stoopid Tree, and hit every branch on the way down.
Confused?
