It is misleading because the article was written by Andrew Anglin alone, not Anglin+Sargon as the submission would imply. There is no direct quote from Sargon apart from a few bits that are out of context.
This is also not the first time a news article is quoted quoting or paraphrasing someone, which could be done falsely, instead of the direct quote.
As for the real quote, yeah he said that, so what? Random person (at least he was at the time, he wasn't always this famous/infamous) mocks politician. Never happened before in history has it? Here's a word of advice, maybe if you don't want vile insults are a politician, you shouldn't go around spreading paranoia about rape or suggesting the Internet should be censored. Or you know, you can just resign, anyone who thinks they can have authority over millions of people and not have at least a few thousand strong haters is just delusional, needs a thicker skin at least.
