[In response to allegations of people altering the Bible]
Theres no doubt in my mind that God would not let his word be altered in any way he did not want it to be. If Sodam and Gomorah were struck dead just 4 lying, then why can't some monk be struck dead?
Atheism even has missionaries. Those missionaries are on these boards right now!! They came into a board marked "spiritual discussion" WHY?? What are they accomplishing? And why are they trying to accomplish anything? If atheism is the lack of belief in God, then why are they coming on to a board about spirituality?

Without God there is no moral code, there is no basis for what's right and wrong, and good and evil are interchangable.
One more thing that is always said by atheists is "No one has ever been killed because of atheism." I beg to differ..I believe that every death since the beginning of time was due to atheism. Even the crusades...I believe every single solitary sin, even little white lies, even by a Christian, is caused by atheism...
What is it with the whole Christian/Catholic thing. Never have i been so confused as when I asked someone if they were a Christian and they replyed I'm a Catholic, I asked the same Question again and i got a blank expression from the person I asked.

The answer is that atheism is not only a belief in no God..It is an agenda, an ORGANIZED effort to kill any sign of God..In fact every year atheists ask for funding from the government...Oh ok, so then you are a religion...Why do the heathen rage? What difference does it make in the long run or even the short run for that matter if we enslave men, or steal things that we need? If I need something and there is no God to punish me for anything then you can bet that I'm going to just take what I need, because I'm going to do what feels good to me at the time. Without God laws are based on feeling, what feels right to me, what feels right to you, and you have no right to tell me what is right for me, you are just another accidental animal.

Fourth, perhaps death is not the worst thing that can happen to you. It appears to me that what God thinks the worst thing is, is to be seperated from Him for ever. And that choice He leaves up to us. If, however, killing (or allowing to die) a few people (who have chosen to refuse Him) so that other's may be given another chance to return to Him, maybe it's a fair action. Perhaps the needs of the many do outweigh the needs of the few.

According to statistics, 33% of the world believe in Christianity. That's a huge figure that is! In fact, using logic we can come to the conclusion Christianity is the true religion of God because it has the most adherents. See how flawed logic is? Do we say God exists because there are more theists than atheists? Since you're such a master in logic, isn't that what you should believe?

Angelic/demonic activity is more common in other parts of the world, such as Indonesia and Africa. These are the places where the Church is thriving in the face of danger, where believers are martyred, where you hear of more miracles.
When you say demons can no longer possess, i disagree. I think they have worked on their technique and make it less obvious, for example, using mental problems and addictions to destroy people.

I am loaded to the teeth with books, videos, and tapes of famous theologians. Before it was just a hobby now it's becoming a lifestyle. My arguments will be fine tuned and honed in on the lies of the humanistic worldview.
Faith comes from within, it is what an individual person experiences with God. It can't be taken away because its conviction is so strong that any misleading scientific theories or rational observations no longer have a bearing on what they see as the truth.
Why do people try to use this as a way to show how "unfair" God is and how "ludicrous" Christian's are? Bible believing Christian's believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. If mother Teresa didn't accept Jesus than she is in hell. If Gandhi, or any other devout religious or extremely moral person didn't accept Jesus than they are in hell. Whether or not you think that is fair or not isn't the issue. I'm just answering your question..
my church currently is expieriencing problems where there is demons running amuck in the basement no one has gone and kicked them out, or they said they kicked one out, but theres more then one we thought we finished the problem, then some kid in the daycare reported seeing some sort of thing and was crying

I believe artificial methods of birth control are wrong. God gave us sex for 2 purposes only, to procreate and to deepen the love bond with our partners. Obviously, if we have sex in an unnatural way (i.e. contraception) then we are denying the ultimate purpose for sex, and that is to create new life.
How can science explain why things were created? And I don't accept other relgion's reasons for why because of problems I have with the other religions. If I don't believe what the rest of the religion says, why would I believe what it says about creation?
The "conspirators" to foist evolution worldwide and discredit Genesis--- if such a conspiracy exists--- find it in their best interest to cause doubt as to their own existance. They are those beings referred to popularly as "demons" or "fallen angels". It is not a human conspiracy. If you don't believe these chaps exist, you can't believe such a conspiracy exists. Didn't scientists used to believe the earth was flat because that's what the evidence suggested? That's what a "rational" scientist would have believed. My point is reason usually fails because it isn't based on exactly what you said it was, EVIDENCE!
As a Christian, I believe in the existence of hell as revealed to me in the Holy Scriptures and by the power of the Holy Spirit. A rational person, who believes in Jesus Christ as their saviour, would also believe in His Word, thus the place of eternal torment. The Bible was not written for people like you who claim to be "rational", but for those who "believe", like me!

As an Mk (missionary kid) i hear all kinds of stories and see first hand the effect that demons and angels have on the world today. They are as real as you and me and to deny them is dangerous i think.

The Universe and Jesus show us undeniable not only that God does exist but who this God is. What you 'believe' is irrelevent. Rather, it's what reality reveals that's important.
While Ghandi did some great things from our perspective on this earth, he was a sinner just like all of us. He came to a point in his life where he chose his own belief system and his own desires over God's way for his life. It's a tragedy that he chose not to be with God.
