I have enough knowledge of science to know that you cannot know what it was like millions of years ago because there was no one there to observe it. Things can only be proven scientificly when someone is there to observe it happening, repeatedly.

we have observed evolution transpire, no argument against that... but I have yet to see any experiments that convinced me, for example, that dinosaurs evolved from birds (which was one theory) or from reptiles and amphibians... for all that I've read, they could have evolved from mammals.

And Macro Evolution cannot occur. If a cell mutates somewhere in my body and doesn't die as a result, it won't affect me in anyway, since I've still got a few Trillion other cells functioning the way they always have. And the mutation will not pass on to my offspring.
