Jamie Gooch #fundie variety.com

Texas mother Jamie Gooch has gone viral after warning parents about the danger of letting their children watch “Hocus Pocus 2,” which started streaming Sept. 30 on Disney+. The film finds Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy reprising their roles as the Sanderson sisters, a trio of child-hungry witches. Gooch first warned parents about the film on social and then joined CBS’ local Texas affiliate KWTX for a now-viral interview.

“A worst case scenario is: you unleash hell on your kids and in your home,” Gooch said. “The whole movie is based on witches harvesting children for blood sacrifices.”

“Do not watch this film,” she continued. “Everybody thinks it’s fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen into your home.”

Gooch explained that her family has “not participated in Halloween in about four or five years” because “the thought of exposing [her] kids to darkness” pains her. Gooch’s warning goes beyond just “Hocus Pocus 2,” as she thinks all parents need to be mindful of what media their children are consuming.

“I think it goes further than just a movie, it goes further than Halloween, it’s a year-round thing, we constantly need to be cautious of what we’re consuming, what we’re bringing in and what we’re sending out,” Gooch said. “I believe whatever comes in our TV screens: there are things attached to that, I’ve seen for myself the things that I’ve watched with my eyes or heard over a TV screen, they’ve become manifested in real life, and then I think ‘oh my gosh, what did I consume?’”

Disney announced earlier this week that “Hocus Pocus 2” set a new record at Disney+ as the most watched original film during its first three days of release. Gooch’s viral interview has spawned many spoofs across social media, including one from comedian Blaire Erskine that earned 2.7 million views and counting on Twitter.

Carol and Rodya #conspiracy variety.com

Carol: Yes, [Harvey Weinstein] is a despicable man. He abuses young women. John Podesta and Alefantis rape and torture and kill babies. They are STILL skating free like the Clinton Cartel pedos— Birds of a feather flock together. No Mercy for those that abuse God’s innocent! Where are the Antifa and feminazi’s now? How come they celebrate sexual abuse?

Rodya: Podesta didn’t just torture and rape babies . He baked them into Pizzas and fed them to his liberal friends . and Crooked hillary set it all up . it’s all there in the emails released by Wikileaks and Assange . For god’s sake wake up people ! Democrats and liberals are CANNIBALS. Thank God we finally have a Christian , moral and Godly President in Donald Trump who is going to put an end to all of this evil .

The Henagar Drive-In Theatre #fundie variety.com

Moviegoers at a drive-in theater in Alabama won’t be able to see a retelling of the “tale as old as time.”

The Henagar Drive-In Theatre in DeKalb County has canceled its screenings of “Beauty and the Beast” because the film will feature Disney’s first openly gay character.

Director Bill Condon recently told Attitude magazine that Josh Gad’s LeFou — villain Gaston’s (Luke Evans) eccentric sidekick — will be Disney’s first-ever LGBTQ character — a way of honoring the original 1991 animated film’s late lyricist Howard Ashman.

The announcement follows the Alabama theater’s change in ownership. “When companies continually force their views on us, we need to take a stand. We all make choices and I am making mine,” a statement on the northeast Alabama theater’s Facebook page read. [...] Here’s the Henagar Drive-In’s full statement below.

As of December 16th the Henagar Drive-In is under new ownership. Movies scheduled prior to that date and four weeks after this date were not scheduled by the new owners. That being said—It is with great sorrow that I have to tell our customers that we will not be showing Beauty and the Beast at the Henagar Drive-In when it comes out. When companies continually force their views on us we need to take a stand. We all make choices and I am making mine. For those that do not know Beauty and the Beast is “premiering” their first homosexual character. The producer also says at the end of the movie “there will be a surprise for same-sex couples”. If we can not take our 11 year old grand daughter and 8 year old grandson to see a movie we have no business watching it. If I can’t sit through a movie with God or Jesus sitting by me then we have no business showing it. I know there will be some that do not agree with this decision. That’s fine. We are first and foremost Christians. We will not compromise on what the Bible teaches. We will continue to show family oriented films so you can feel free to come watch wholesome movies without worrying about sex, nudity, homosexuality and foul language. Thank you for your support!

[On a negative review of the film "God's Not Dead"]

Another angry Atheist spitting and crying with a snot nosed reply because him and his ignorant friends have been exposed for being the ass holes everyone is sick of. This review is undeserving of even one star. It focuses on his own faithlessness and anger because he’s jealous of the real God and wants to cry about Christians actually fighting the RELIGION of atheism. Constantly forcing their faith of a godless universe with a failed hypothesis of the religion of evolution he picks on a movie that exposes such stupidity. I am sorry I wasted my time listening to this idiot spit out his ignorance out of personal distaste rather than give a fair review. Just another idiot trying to pretend to have a brain. I can just hear the scarecrow now “If only I had a brain”. Do us all a favor and give up on reviews as your opinion is about as worthy as a pile of dog refuse.
