Evolution is the “creation theory” for the religion of atheism. According to the Bible, the choice is clear. We can believe the Word of our omnipotent and omniscient God, or we can believe the illogically biased, “scientific” explanations of fools.

Evolution is an important part of Biology, which most people, regardless of religion or lack thereof, accept as plain fact. If atheists want an explanation for how life exist, they would go to the hypothesis of Abiogenesis. Evolution is about diversity and adaptation, not creation or the beginning. Gravity, photosynthesis, chemistry, astrophysics all deny the need for a god to be involved in the Universe much more than evolution does. Atheism is the lack of a religion, like baldness is the lack of hair, and stupidity is a lack of smarts. According to the Koran, the choice is clear too. And what do you know; according to the Bhagavad-Gita, the Poetic Edda, the Gilgamesh, Silmarillion and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the choice is also clear. They all take for granted that you accept their story. They are all just as fictional, though, including the Bible.

That petty god of yours is much more biased than the logical scientific explanations of really smart people. You're the real fool, for gullibly accepting ancient myths and fairytales.

Well, the ToE does poke holes in a literal reading of Genesis where plants and animals were created as they are today (and yes, humans are animal, even if it gets your panties in a bunch, Lightning), but so do a bunch of other sciences like geology or astrophysics.

It does not deal with the origin of life, that's the job of abiogenesis.

If you really, really want to keep your imaginary friend without looking like (too much of) a loon, your best bet is to go the theistic evolution route: claim that things went like science says because Gawd set them that way.

It still sounds like what it is, namely an attempt to claim credit for capital-E Everything for your pet deity, but this creator god is a bit less easy to disprove than Literal-Bible God. Of course, you still have to prove that he actually existed, that he still exists, that he is the god you worship and that he has the characteristics you claim he has, but at least that version of god would be, well, godly at billiards.

I was an Atheist long before I dabbled in Evolutionary concepts.

It's got something to do with your book being a bunch of ridiculous bullshit or a poorly formed fairy-tale. And something to do with it's followers being huge hypocrites. But mostly before my thirties I discovered the origions of the Bible that prove it's a plagarized cobbling together of older myths. But I digress,,,

It's fucking ridiculous bullshit that no one believes unless they blindly accept it. Coming to it later then most and not immersed in the ritual indoctrination I've never believed a word of it my entire life. An astounding lack of evidence is a valid reason to ignore it's claims.

Evolution, and any science, doesn’t way what you think it says. The presence or absence of a god changes nothing in any of the theories.
