(Responding to story in which a middle school student in Texas made national headlines when she expressed concern to her local school board over an assignment that required her to deny the existence of God as fact - dubious story to begin with, but someone made the comment that "they should apologize" to the girl):

It would be nice but highly unlikely.
To do so would be to admit wrongdoing. And that can of worms would open them up to lawsuits for their blatant abuse of authority and infringement of religious liberties.
And we know how much these cowards fear lawsuits don't we!

Every time a single atheist complains and threatens a lawsuit for merely saying "God bless you!" when someone sneezes.... God, the Bible, silent prayers, crosses, the letter "T", the Christmas colours of red and green, Nativity scenes, trees, music, lights, and giving thanks are banned from school areas.

But good news! Drugs, needles, pornography, gender confusion and condoms are in great supply! What a culture.
