Have you been to a public school lately? Not controlled in the best use of the term. Neither are they teaching anything remotely glorious to God.
How a believer can send their kid off to public school everyday, just blows my mind.
The culture of sensuality and vulgarity is why we are headed for complete disregard for anything Holy.

Because teachers don't stop spouting on about how you should tell people to go fuck themselves, & are forever teaching children how to give oral ^_^
& like, appeasing gods vanity is sooo important ;)
"Controlled?" You think they should be beating the kids and putting them in stocks for not doing their recitations properly?
It's not the schools' job to glorify God. I don't know how you missed that memo.
I went to a public school. I have never experienced a school shooting, drugs being forced onto me, or growing up to become a serial killer. What my 'godless' education game me is an excellent understanding of math, science, language and sociology, the ability to reason logically and a sense of ethics.
Damn public schools and their positive outcomes!

O NOES!

Not for quite some time now.

I wonder why they don't do that. Oh, wait, isn't there something about not indoctrinating pupils in a federally funded school? Hm... something like that if I recall correctly.

Yes, I know. Better to keep your little brat at home and fill their head with fairy tales. Wouldn't want them to be exposed to reality or anything nasty like that.

Woo-hoo!
You would really hate the schools where I've been teaching. They're not even allowed to mention religion, oh no! Because guess what? They think that should be the parents' job, to help the kids figure out what they want to believe. Schools can't make the time to teach the tenets of every religion when they should be having actual lessons. If you want your kid to be religious, talk to her about religion at home.

Please let me know which subjects should be altered to include material that would be "glorious to God".

American History

Biology

Maybe they just don't have the cash to send their kids to a parochial school. Now this could mean either parochial schools should lower their prices in order to attract more students and keep them out of public schools; or Jehovah needs to get off his holy and sanctified ass and send the less-wealthy believers some money so they can afford parochial school prices.
I've been to the public schools of my nieces quite often in the past 16 years.
Not to mention the fact that I spent 13 years in public school, leaving with a diploma and the ability to think and use my brain and think and learn. There are many problems with public schools these days, but the fact that they don't teach about your god is not one of them.
That is not their job or their responsibility and for that I am grateful. My nieces get a well rounded education based in reality and fact, not myth and superstition and fear.
My nieces have, however, missed the classes in sensuality and vulgarity. They're too busy with things like History and French and English and Literature and Chemistry and Economics and Calculus.
I'm afraid your little holy book already cornered the market on sensuality. Song of Solomon, Lot and his daughters, David and Bathsheba.....your god is quite the lusty bloke ain't he? All that can be considered vulgar as well, if you'd like to stretch the definition a bit.
How about a relatively unbiased view of the world, and helping children come to their own decisions in life? You can teach them whatever you want outside of school, after all. Of course, you would rather lock out any opposing arguments and make kids think that they are forced to believe in God, rather than letting them make their own choices.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
