[Another fundie has asked Acts for advice on how to hand out Bibles and tracts to people in a short amount of time.]

Generally, if I'm getting rung up, I chat about my purchases, then say "I'd love to give you something!" Or ask "Can I give you this?"

Make sure it isn't a Bible sold by the store, or they could get into trouble.

Sometimes I will say "I'd love to give you a Bible". Most everyone says "OK".

Yesterday, I tried to give a teller a Bible. She said "I don't want this" and handed it back. That's about as "bad" as it gets. Then I just put them on the prayer list. I do the same thing on a Big Bible handout. If they sneer at me or glare, I just smile and walk off, thinking "You're still on the prayer list!"

I have even had encounters where I held out a Bible to someone as they walked by, and they took it.

Listen to the Holy Spirit. You can't go wrong.

All that said, I have had a few times where I got a very clear NO BIBLE FOR HIM. When I disobeyed, the guy just freaked out. He had to have a demon. But, that happened because I disobeyed.
