This is what I have in an empty tennis ball tube container, on my clothes furniture in my room for my parents: (list of pamphlets)
- The Rapture - Satan's Final Defeat
- The Rapture - Opening the Gates of Hell
- The Rapture - The Greatest Upheavel of Nature
- "Saved" After the Rapture; But, Oh, the Cost!
- A Guide For The Left Behind
- "Left Behind" At The Rapture
- "Left Behind" The World's Response to the Rapture
- The Saving Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Horrors of Hell
- The "MARK" "666"
- The Cup Which He Drank: The Cup of Shame
- Don't Lose Your Crown
Plus a little bit more stuff...
My closest family though, still aren't really into anything of this stuff at all. I don't know if they are going to make it or not, after like 10 years of me preaching and still like nothing, with my family.
(I've probably been preaching about end-time stuff for maybe 7-8 Years with my family)

@Mr Frog
From my experience of personally dealing with them, I have noticed that it is usually a result of extreme psychological stress.
Almost every born again Christian I have known at one point had an extremely rough life, or had to directly deal with very painful situations.
In fact, one of my ex girlfriends who is a very intelligent individual is going through the process of becoming a fundamentalist. She went through a serious case of clinical depression and had a rush with death(she was a cutter).
After hitting rock bottom, she still had a desire to live, but after arriving at the realization that life is a difficult thing to deal with no matter how you look at it, she decided(subconsciously I suppose) that believing in "heaven", and "eternal life after death" were the only things that made it worth not committing suicide.
You are totally mad. Barking mad. A lunatic. A fool. Your brain has turned to sponge. You are deluded. You are demented. You are destitute of any common sense.
Now back off your family and let them make their own way. For as I see it, you are tormenting them and causing them pain and hurt - over 7 or 8 years! I would have had you sectioned long before now.

It's truly a marvel that you haven't been locked away for "psychiatric evaluation" by now. It's strange how you can believe whole heartedly in such nonsense and be allowed to roam free yet if someone claimed the same bullshit about fairies or elves they'd be in an institution doped up to their eyeballs on anti-psychotics.
How do people become so crazy fundie? :(
There are a variety of ways. The traditional method is to get heavily indoctrinated whilst a young child. Other techniques typically exploit people's reluctance to face such difficult concepts as their own non-existence after death or their vanishingly small presence in a colossal, indifferent universe, and hold out an alternative that a desperate enough mind will cling to, irrational or not. A variant on this is to actually induce the initial desperation by convincing the subject that they're worthless and generally deserving of some kind of punishment, then hold out hope of redemption. A disturbing number of drug abstinence and self-help groups work this way.
Once you've got the basic religious delusion to take root, you need to amplify it to fundie levels, typically by a positive feedback loop. Structure the delusion in such a way that it gives the subject a sense of superiority or worth, whilst making them act in a way that will actually lower their standing and success (not entirely, of course - a parasite has to keep the host just functional enough to barely stay alive). In the right kind of mind, this causes the subject to withdraw into their delusion of superiority in order to compensate for their failings in reality, which in turn worsens their real life functionality still further and pushes them even further into the delusion, and so on.
Sounds like my uncle. Everytime he comes over, he preaches how we're all going to hell. Turns out, he was doing that to his wife's family too, and they told her not to bring him back.
It just struck me he must be a huge asshole (well, of course, but here's another reason). Imagine, if you will, how this works in the mind of a fundy.
"Well, suppose the rapture happens, and I go to heaven. What about my parents who are eternally damned, and have a couple of horrible years ahead of them, what can I do about it... Oh, I know. I'll rub it in some more"
brilliant.
I have an empty pringles tube in my room. It's full of nickels. Which one of us is cooler? Hint: I could possibly pool my nickels, exchange them for a few dollars, and buy a pepsi with them. What can you do with your pamphlets? Read about something that probably will never happen? Start a fire? Meanwhile, I'm sucking back delicious pepsi. :D
Victor. STFU about the rapture, get a job, move out, and leave your poor parents in peace. I'm sure they're sick of supporting your worthless ass. And take your idiotic "rapture kit" with you.
OK. So what? Thet fact that YOU have those pamphlets and not your parents seems to indicate your evangelism is a bit screwed up. That, and the fact that you've been preaching for years to no effect.
I recommend using the pamphlets to light a fire in your fireplace and preaching to your family about the benefits of high-quality public education.
I wonder if he's mentally challenged, "clothes furniture" that sounds like something my down's cousin might say. (he keeps scraps of comic books that he likes in a tennis ball tube, individual panels of Archie such.)
"10 years of me preaching and still like nothing, with my family."
Sounds like the REAL problem is that you're a shitty preacher. 10 years you've had, and they still regard YOU as the one who is "lost"?
"Don't Lose Your Crown" sounds like some sort of American game show.
"Next on FOX, it's 'Don't Lose Your Crown', watch as two Christian familys battle it out to see who's going to get raptured first!"
"Don't Lose Your Crown" -- if ever the appeal of fundyism was summed up in one pamphelet title, that's it. It isn't merely enough that you have a sincere conviction that there is a God in the universe who created you, but that you're more special than everyone else in creation. That, I think, is the difference between the born-again and the lumpenchurchgoer.
And I'll wager that 10 years from today, you'll still be preaching at your poor family members about the Soon-To-Happen End of the World.
And 100 years from today, there will be other human beings badgering their families to repent because the World Is Ending Soon.
What the fuck is "clothes furniture"? Is it, perhaps, a DRESSER? Or even a CHEST OF DRAWERS? Possibly a WARDROBE (aka ARMOIRE)? Good christ all fucking mighty, may I have your address so I can send you a THESAURUS?
And exactly how many pamphlets CAN one stuff into an empty tennis ball tube?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
