Some stars. As mentioned before, stars are still being born. But, yes, most of the stars we see are older than the earth.

Yep! Photosynthesis without sunlight is harrrrd.
4.)...birds evolved from reptiles
Yeppers! And, yes, we have the transitional fossils.
5.) ...the sun was formed before the Earth
Pretty sure so. According to Wikipedia's article on the Origin of the Solar System, the baby sun had a cloud of matter around it that coalesced into the various planets and other stuff.
I'm sure, however, that the Bad Astronomer and his crew can explain that last one better than I, and have already ripped you to utter shreds about all of this.
