Yeah! And when when god belches we get hurricanes, And when god takes a leak we get torrential downpours and floods. And when god scratches his dandruff we get get snow storms and avalanches. And when god farts we get thick pea-soupers and smog. And when god defacates, luckily enough he hasn't yet, but when he does, that'll be the end of the world.
So you're saying that God isn't omnipotent?
Also--I'm curious--what kind of radiation, specifically, does God have?
I'm not sure if this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, or the most awesome.
I do know I'm imagining Moses walking around Mount Sinai in a hazmat suit.
So, an omnipotent deity is unable to shield his unbearable majesty from us? That's a contradiction.
Claiming that everyone who's sinned (which, technically, IS everyone) dies at the sight of said deity's radiance, EXCEPT one? That's a second contradiction.
Confusing the words "radiance" and "radiation?" That's just the icing on the FAIL-cake.
If God, despite being omnipotent, can't turn it off, then just look at Him from inside of an iron chariot. Problem solved.
He can't? It's impossible? So in fact, not all things are possible with God.
And I thought "We are all sinful" even applied to Moses.
Can't?
Hmm, fucking weakling.
god's holy radiation doesn't let sin come near him.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
Then explain how He manages to host Satan in His very throne room.
What? "God's holy radiation"? So God is radioactive? Is he some kind of supervilian now? And if a sinful person dies if they see god, but Moses saw god and didn't die, does that mean he's not sinful? But he was sinful, according to the bible. That's why he wasn't allowed into the promised land. What is this supposed to mean?
I think he's trying to talk about the Shechinah, which in Hebrew tradition meant that the resting place of the Lord was suffused with such bright glory mere mortals couldn't approach it. (See Exodus 40:35 - "Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting, for the cloud rested [shakhan] upon it, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.")
He got kind of confused, though.
Lessons learned from this quote:
1. God is NOT omnipotent since he is unable to turn off his "holy radiation."
2. The bit in the Bible that says "all have sinned" is clearly a lie if Moses didn't die.
3. Lucis is one stupid funditard.
-. Moses was a murderer. (Murdered an Egyptian guy, 's in the Bible, somewhere.)
-> Your own God gave him the Big 10, one of which was "Thou shalt not murder". (Go ahead, check the original Hebrew.)
Therefore: Moses was a sinner.
News Flash: Moses was a sinner. Ergo, your statement is stupid.
radiation? Well I guess that explains iron armor.....
Vegita: Raditz, what does the scouter say Jehovah's power level is at?
Raditz: It's...it's...it's through the roof!
Vegita: Impossible!
*BOOM!*
Vegita: What was that?
Raditz: The scouter exploded!
Vegita: NOOO!
So if sinners die when they see God, and we're all technically sinners by virtue of being human, everyone who finds God should die on the spot, right?
Hope springs eternal, and faulty logic for the win.
He can’t turn it off? Can’t? Can’t?
So, uh, you don’t consider God to be omnipotent, then do you?
Confused?
