You are deliberately ignoring the point being made. I'll take the point Deborahreed was making and expand it a bit:
@Deborahreed: Please note that I'm not trying to put words in your mouth with the following comment, the comment is mine alone :)
As a Christian, our bodies belong to God as He is our Creator. No-one has a 'right' to do anything to their bodies. In fact when He created us, he gave us an owner's Operating Manual called the Holy Bible. In it is God's wisdom and guidance for a full, happy and healthy life if - if - we obey God's laws, statutes, Commandments and principles of good health and nutrition.
God tells us the kinds of meat that's considered to be edible, and that which is considered to be according to His standards - inedible.
We are told in Scripture that children are a gift from God, and admonished to 'do no murder'.
Thus when a female has an abortion, she is murdering a child - God's gift - a part of herself. No human has any kind of 'right' over his or her body as our lives, our hearts, minds and bodies belong to God.

I've read the thing front to back, and I have yet to find an FAQ in it on how to deal with, for instance, fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.
If that is the case you better acknowledge that he is therefore responsible for all children that have died during birth and all those that were still-born, without the benefit of seeing their first day, let alone his 'manual' on living. He is entirely responsible for his 'property' is he not?
Where does this ownership come from? Parents don't own their children. At all. They are the legal guardians of the children until the child reaches adulthood.
Rights are the invention of humans. Our civilisations struggle with what rights to afford to whom, and it is in my opinion that affording people rights over their own bodies is perfectly acceptable.
Good. You won't need medical insurance, then. And should you get a headache, depression, cancer, remember that "no-one has a right to do anything to their bodies."
And God didn't say pigs, camels etc. were "inedible"; he said you may not eat them while those that don't keep kosher may, which is quite different. Red locusts are also kosher (Leviticus 11:22), so I expect you to find them "edible" when served them. Do these fundies ever read the Bible thoroughly?
"No-one has a 'right' to do anything to their bodies."
So, Patsy, I am going to assume that you have never once cut your hair, pierced your ears, or shaved your armpits/legs?
"We are told in Scripture that children are a gift from God, and admonished to 'do no murder'. "
I bet you can't find that verse in so-called "scripture".
"when He created us, he gave us an owner's Operating Manual called the Holy Bible"
So much wrong in just those few words.
"God tells us the kinds of meat that's considered to be edible, and that which is considered to be according to His standards - inedible."

...said pantywaist, whilst eating a pulled pork sandwich, worshipping a 'God of Love' who ordered abortions to happen to unborn Samaritan children.
'Pro-Life . Pro-Gun ' (Can you say 'Sandy Hook'? I know you can).
...nope, no hypocrisy there, nosiree. [/hyper-sarcasm]

Heavens! No more washing, no more sex, no more life-saving operations, no more pissing, no more shitting, no more farting. Aaaarrrrrgh!
How idiotic.
I do not support abortion on demand, but there are times when it is necessary, and the door to that must always be left open. If it comes down to a choice between mother and a possiblt viable child, there enter, in addition to the woman's right to life, the rights of the husband, the rights of an pre-existing children, the rights of the woman's family and the husband's family - to say the least.
Mark 7:1819
“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.”
You're full of shit lady.
My body is the distillation of my own efforts, my own nutritional sense, my will to be physically strong and mentally capable. I've gathered the oxygen and nutrients to build every single cell of my being.
How dare this wacko say i'm some sort of meat puppet slaved to a celestial dictator.
@ Xotan
"I do not support abortion on demand".
Oh, really? Then who do you think should have the right to decide when I can "demand" what I do with my own fucking body if want to have a parasitic clump of cells removed before it gestates into a child I don't want or can't afford? YOU?
And who would you like to be making your medical decisions for you when you "demand" something that you feel is appropriate for yourself?
What if I were a Jehova's Witness, and I didn't "support" blood transfusions "on demand", but only when I thought your circumstance met my moral criteria? Would I get to make the call?
"We are told in Scripture that children are a gift from God, and admonished to 'do no murder'."
Except for the times he called for unbelievers to be killed and ripped wombs from women, and had ordered others killed.
YOUR body belongs to god. No one else's. Abortion is not murder as the fetus is not yet a full human being.
Funny thing, I can usually return "gifts," so I'm going to say children are not one.
Also, I thought the whole only by the grace of god's forgiveness thing was because we were going to screw up and only an awesome god could forgive us and let us into heaven? How do you know what level of sin can be forgiven? Sounds like you got some of that pride thing.
"God tells us the kinds of meat that's considered to be edible, and that which is considered to be according to His standards - inedible. "
Have you eaten any shellfish lately? If you have you have committed an abomination. What about pork?
Whether or not there is a God, my mind and body belong to me. They're not a rental car from God. The "heart" that I hear people speak of makes no sense. The organ is part of the body, and the metaphorical version is part of the mind, which is the same as the soul by every conceivable thought process.
Confused?
