But you've come so far, Why fuck it all up now? No one who properly understands evolutionary theory "worships" evolution, nor do they consider Darwin to be a "prophet". Evolution is a proven, observible, and incontrivertible fact, ithe concept of which predates Darwin himself by at least several decades.

Evolution is not at all concerned, nor speaks to the cause, nature, or purpose of the universe. The only thing evolution concerns is to seek to explain the diversity of life by means of natural selection.

And yet so very, very far. People, at least the ones who understand what evolutionary theory comprises, do "believe" in evolution, they accept it on the basis of the evidence provided. Belief is reserved for concepts that cannot be proven or directly observed.
