If we did not have a moon, all water on earth would not flow, causing the water to become stagnant. Not suitable for human consumption.

So he has heard about the effect of the moon on tidal motion. Then it all starts to go downhill when he assumes that all movement of water connected to the tide. And the stagnant thing? I have no idea how that relates.
I did consider it might be a Poe on account that he knows about tidal motion.
LMAO, did you see the title of the post this was under? "I can prove Atheism doesn't exist".
Apparantly we're all just deluded Christians...
I just had a very interesting experience with Physics as read this nonsense. You see, I fell over so hard laughing, I spilled my drink. Well, I have this table that is not exactly level, and the weirdest thing happened... My vodka and tonic flowed DOWNWARD!!
Right to the floor!
Do you think that the moon was behind that? ('Cause I'm pissed!)
I don't think Devoted to Hymn is aware of gravity. Maybe he's an adherent to that new "Intelligent Falling" theory?
Of course, what if we didn't have a moon? Think of all the poor werewolves!
The moon causes water to flow....?
That statement just made the entire internet stupider. Hell, I'm surprised that a statement that idiotic even managed to fit through the series of tubes that makes up the internet.
Let's assume you are right. Let's assume that the moon was necessary for water to be suitable for human consumption.
Then, what would have happened? Hmans would have evolved differently, or wouldn't have evolved. Period. It's not that conditions were manipulated so that humans could live on Earth, humans evolved to survive in the current conditions.
The moon is by no means the only factor affecting the tides, and flowing water, while less likely to stagnate than still because it's continuously replenished by more or less distilled rainwater (caused by solar evaporation and the like, not the goddamn moon or tides), is by no means guaranteed to be potable.
I fail to see your point.
Besides that, the thread title is kinda stupid as well: "I can prove Atheism does not exist."
Atheism is a belief system- it cannot be proven to exist, because there are people who believe it.
On the other hand, you can DISprove the concept of atheism.
Two different things.
So, in addition to tides, the Moon causes rivers worldwide to flow downhill? I was not aware of that! No Moon, no Industrial Revolution! Cities built at falls (Pawtucket, Lowell, Holyoke) would be farming villages.
Read about the water cycle, evaporation, condensation, rain, filtration, oxygenation and the nitrogen cycle, etc. And not from anti-science creationist propaganda. Nothing to do with the moon or the tides. Ignorance leads to ridiculous claims.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
